jhxOf all of the celebrities whom I have met, I must say that Jenilee Harrison has to be one of the nicest. As a buff of Three’s Company, I was excited to meet the gal who replaced Suzanne Somers in the series, portraying her almost-as-dumb but way-more-clumsy cousin Cindy Snow. She appeared throughout the entire fifth season of the show as the third roommate, but then was relegated to a lesser role in the sixth season having moved out of the apartment to make way for Terri Alden, played by Priscilla Barnes.

I already had quite a few autographs from cast members of Three’s Company, so I was glad to add another one to my collection. But I was in no way prepared for how utterly friendly and talkative Jenilee Harrison would be when I met her at the Hollywood Celebrity Show in Burbank on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Jenilee (who also had a recurring role on Dallas, during which she was killed off…twice!) seemed very excited to be doing the show and we chatted for quite a while about her horse ranch in northern Kentucky, not too far from Cincinnati.

So the experience of meeting Jenilee at the Burbank Hollywood Show on Saturday, July 18, was very pleasing and memorable, but when I encountered her once again at the Chicago Collectors Show on October 17, 2009, I was even more shocked. I told my Mom that I just wanted to swing by and say hello and remind her that we had met before. When we approached her, she greeted me like an old friend, perfectly recalling me and our conversation from three months earlier.

Finding celebrities as nice and genuine as Jenilee Harrison is as common as finding a snowball in the desert.

  1. I’m so happy to see such sweet comments about Jenilee! She is my Dad’s cousin and I haven’t seen her since I was 7, at a family reunion in Illinois, but she was so kind and everyone in my family always talks about how sweet she is. I’m so glad that you got to meet her (twice). Thanks for the sweet comments about our family member!!!
