Mom and I spent the better part of last weekend (3/3 and 3/4) visiting with Aaron, Denise, and of course my superstar nephew Adam. We didn’t get going until about 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon, but we arrived in plenty of time to get some quality Adam exposure. We all went out to eat at Las Margaritas, a Mexican restaurant (obviously) where Adam slept through most of dinner. After we returned back to the house, we all marveled at Adam as he was fed his traditional nightly rice dinner and was bathed.
Although he fusses every once in a while, especially when sleepy or hungry, he is certainly becoming a very happy boy, smiling and even laughing quite a bit. I enjoyed also watching him roll his way across the living room as we watched the Game Show Network day-in and day-out. (I’m jealous about not having that!).
Aaron bought a bottle of Dancing Bull Red Zinfandel that we split during the evening hours. Good stuff – finally I’ve found a good red wine that I like well. On Sunday morning, my friend Eric Hubble picked me up and we had a comedic breakfast at Bob Evans. It’s really cool to be able to have him so close now that we’ve re-connected following our twenty years of silence.
That afternoon we all went to the mall to browse and walk Adam around in his stroller. I enjoyed a tasty Cajun meal in the food court before helping Mom pick out the paint for her bathroom. And with that last statement, you can see that I really have nowhere else to go with this entry.
The drive home seemed quick as Mom and I chatted (mostly she chatted) and listened to 1920’s dance music. When we got back to my place I loaded up her new iPod shuffle that Denise and I bought for her birthday.
These are some cute pics of “Secret Adam Man.” 😮

This little guy is so cute! I can’t wait till next week when I get to vacation with him. Abby is going to seem like such a big girl next to little Adam.

I’ve only gotten to hold the kid once! I am really needing another Adam-fix over here!
