I had fully intended to pick up a signed photo of Greg Evigan at the Hollywood Show in Burbank on July 18, 2009. I was probably going to get a picture from B.J. and the Bear – as that was surely his most notable role to the general public in the late 1970’s even if I had never seen an episode. Among his many television appearances, I was most drawn to the sitcom My Two Dads. But not because of him. The fact is that the daughter of the two dads (the other played by Paul Reiser) was smoking hot – even if she was four years my junior.
So needless to say I was delighted when I approached Greg Evigan’s table inquiring the cost of his photos, and he pointed out that Staci Keanan – the daughter of the two dads herself – would also sign the photo for a fee. I looked over to his right and there she was in all her beautiful glory. I’m sure my face turned red when I told her that I always had a crush on her.
From that point, I all but ignored Greg Evigan as I asked her what she had been up to and she told me about the local stage work she was doing. After they had signed the photo, adding their character names as well, I posed for a photo with them, relishing my arm around Staci.
This was quite the unexpected surprise and I was pleased to find that Staci Keanan was as kind and charming as she was pretty.
Celebrities of the Summer 2009 Hollywood Collectors Show will continue…
I used to watch My Two Dads every week and enjoyed the show alot. Staci always played her part really well, as the child who was more mature than her two dads.

I have met Staci a few times over the years and she is a doll. How could you NOT have a crush on her.But I did point out that I only watched Step By Step to see her scenes. She laughed.

I miss Staci a lot ! Always love her on step by step. I hope we will see her on s new role soon but I don’t think so, as she has decided to change carrer:
“She came to law school because she wants to be a prosecutor and got to spend the summer working in felony prelims, and handling misdemeanors and domestic violence cases. Every year, the Riverside courts hold the Closing Argument Competition for all 2L law clerks. During the last week of the externship, 12 student clerks converged at the downtown Riverside courthouse to compete.”
