As a huge fan and collector of all episodes of I Dream of Jeannie, I am thrilled to have autographed photos all three of the principals of the show. In fact I met Larry Hagman and his co-star Bill Daily both in 2009. Unfortunately, I have not been so lucky with Barbara Eden. She was, however, kind enough to sign a nice cheesecake photo of herself back in the latter part of 1997. It is unfortunate that I didn’t get her to sign the photo from the show first– and then add Hagman’s signature later. As it is, I’ll have to be satisfied with the lone autographed photo from Barbara Eden seen below. At least her belly button is visible.
UPDATE: I got my chance to finally meet this TV icon on Saturday, October 9, 2010, when she made an appearance at the Hollywood Show in Burbank. Although the line moved slow and it took about a half-hour to get through it, there was no way on earth or Baghdad that I was going to miss it. Her costs were not too outrageous, so I shelled out the $30 to have her sign my photo that had been previously signed by Larry Hagman. I had always wanted a dual-signed photo and now I had one.
Incidentally, I would see her again – along with co-stars Larry Hagman and Bill Daily – just three weeks later at the Chiller Theatre show. By that time, I had already gotten autographs of and photos with all three.
At long last, a meeting with Jeannie

SECOND UPDATE: Barbara Eden attended another show to which I took my girlfriend Carolyn, this time the Hollywood Show in Chicago on September 7, 2013. I thought it would be cool to buy Carolyn a photo op with Barbara Eden so that she too can dream of Jeannie more up close and personal. I plunked down the $15 for her to get a photo… then naturally I jumped into one as well, emulating the pose that Carolyn asked for: Jeannie getting ready to make the magic happen.

Wow, very cool! I loved that show. I remember my dad laughing throughout the episodes.
