After the excitement of birth had worn off, I had little else to do but begin growing, squirming, and waiting for the holidays. By the age of six weeks, I had enlarged to 10 lbs. 4 oz. and by the time I had hit three months, I had ballooned to 14 lbs. 12 oz. It must have been the Thanksgiving turkey.
Of course I jest. But I had begun eating fruit at one month, yellow vegetables at six weeks, green vegetables at nine weeks, and meat at three months. As this was written in my “Sweet Baby Days” record book, I assume this meant baby food format and that I wasn’t eating filet mignon while chomping on a celery stick. I was also still enjoying formula at this point. I can just taste it now.
I probably would have been fatter if I hadn’t started rolling over from my stomach to back at two and a half months. The two photos above are me at that age and the one below is an ‘official’ portrait taken at two months.
Next: Christmas 1.
