Oddly enough, I had bypassed getting an autograph of Cindy Morgan in the past, and had only put her on my ‘maybe’ list when Denise and I met up with at the Chicago Hollywood Celebrities and Memorabilia show on Saturday, September 25, 2010. In the past, I had known only that she was in Caddyshack, but before I went to the show this time, I made sure that I checked out her and her character Lacey Underall in the film. In the end, I walked away with a great picture with the sexy Cindy Morgan, two signed photos, and a real admiration for her.

What I hadn’t realized that she had been the female lead in Walt Disney’s historic first computer-animated film Tron in 1982. I had never cared much for the film, but as a Disney buff, this impressed me. When I approached her table, I asked her what photo she recommended and she told me that I looked like ‘more of a Caddyshack guy’ and recommended her photo with Chevy Chase.

I told her that, yes, I loved that film – but I was also a Disney guy as well. I made her one of my standard offers of two photos for $30 and she accepted it without hesitation. There was also no question as to whether she’d pose for a photo for free. She was a beautiful and classy lady and I’m glad I opted to check out her wares. And even in her mid-50’s what lovely wares they are!
