Okay, you get a two-fer. Although they were certainly big-name draws to the February 2007 Hollywood Collectors Show, there was never a huge line for the two celebrities who were part of the ensemble cast of the popular sit-com Married…With Children. Therefore it wasn’t difficult to meet and get my photo with both Katey Sagel and David Faustino, better known as Peg and Bud Bundy. They were sitting nearby each other but not together. In fact, I never even saw them glance in each others direction.

Katey Sagel was cordial but not particularly outgoing, letting her manager or agent take care of collecting the 20 bucks for the nice color photo, which she would then sign. Her table being in the corner, it wasn’t very easy to get a picture take with her, but she was nice enough to stand up and lean forward.

David Faustino, on the other hand, was there handling his own money and exceptionally cordial. Although, he nearly had trouble counting back the change, he was extremely friendly and very willing to enthusiastically pose for a picture. The one collector in front of me in line had already had his photo signed by Christina Applegate (aka Kelly), and David remarked sarcastically “good luck getting Ed O’Neill.” Good to know that Bud is a cool guy and very down to earth.

Celebrities and autographs from the 2007 HCS will continue…

  1. Katey Sagel stars in one of my current favorite shows Sons of Anarchy. I don’t know if you watch it, but it’s a phenomenal show and Katey is fantastic in it. She’s actually married to the shows creator Kurt Sutter.
