Quite easy on the eyes, Shannon Elizabeth was a no-brainer as to whether I was going to shell out the cash to get a signed photo and pose for a picture with her (even at $45 for the combo). She may not be Marilyn Monroe, but I for one instantly had her faced burned on my brain after her appearance in the 1999 smash teen comedy American Pie. She’d go on to star in its first sequel American Pie 2 and will be appearing in the upcoming American Reunion as well.
If you can’t get enough of her hotness form those films and this posting, you might also catch her in Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, participating in Dancing with the Stars, and in the very likeable role of Brooke, mother of Kelso’s baby, in That 70’s Show.
She was still beautiful and generally nice when I got the chance to meet her at the Hollywood Show on Saturday, February 11, 2012. The only questionable act was that she insisted on personalizing each photo (thus shaving off some of the resale value. So, uh, “shaved” is the expression?). This is clearly a ridiculous move when we are paying for the photo (versus her signing for free elsewhere). But since I really had no intention of selling it, and preferred not to get into an argument with this hottie, I went took it as it she signed it. And then I put my arm around her.
