img770.jpgThe last three nostalgic photo entries I have made are of my Dad or from his side of the family. Not playing favorites, his photos are more unique because of the uncharacteristic use of color for the 1950’s and early 1960’s. But of course black and white photos have their place, too. Here’s a few great shots of my Mom from the Summer of ’61.

Above is a photo of her siblings Diana, Bev, Jim, and my Mom on the right. Below is a shot of my Mom with Grandma Murlin (my Grandma Murphy’s mother). This and the ’57 Chevy photo were taken at their house on Cunnington in Kettering. It was in this house that I fell down the stairs…which you’ll hear about later.
