I supposed I spoiled any suspense or anticipation on whether or not I ever met Donna Mills in my last celebs from 2005 posting about Thora Birch. More than one person asked me if that was her standing behind us in the photo. So here’s the answer: yes it was. But honestly I never noticed her in that shot before and have no idea why she was behind the velvet rope with the stars of the production of Casablanca. Nor did I really even know who she was until someone pointed her out…nor did I know exactly what she had done!
The reason I even got my photo snapped with her is because Christi’s Mom Joy had always said that people often told her that she looked like Donna Mills. If I heard that once, I heard it a dozen times. So I thought I would get my photo with this alleged look-alike as a way of impressing her.
So as most of you probably know, Donna Mills played Abby Ewing on 233 episodes of Knots Landing – of which I have never seen a single episode. More impressive to me is that she played Clint Eastwood’s girlfriend in Play Misty For Me, which I have seen but have since forgotten. So here it is…my photo with Donna Mills.
