"Is this a musical table?" - Paul, "Flirting with Disaster"

london3It’s a shame that Jeremy London hasn’t done more professionally that has interested me, because he’s actually done quite a bit. I was never into I’ll Fly Away, Party of Five, or 7th Heaven TV series, but I now they’ve all had quite a following. My interest in him was pretty much restricted to his role in Mallrats in which he had second billing as T.S. Quint. He also starred in the epic Gods and Generals, which although generally panned by critics, is a massive prequel to the acclaimed Gettysburg. Yet it still goes back to Mallrats, and that’s why I made sure to meet him when he appeared at the Chiller Theatre show in Parsippany, New Jersey, on October 27, 2012.

This was post-Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and from what I could tell he seemed pretty solid to me. In fact he might have been the nicest guy I met that day, not only willing but enthusiastic to pose for a free photo with me after I bought the signed Mallrats photo for $20.

He was the type of celebrity that was a pure pleasure to meet and the next time I watch Mallrats, I’m going to be even more excited about this encounter.
