  • 001. Pilot – 6/4/2014
    • High-powered California investment banker Jennifer Doyle (Jaime Pressly) is expecting a promotion to Senior Vice President at Bale Capital, but instead her boss Don Hirsh (Jeffrey Tambor) and his lackey Clay (Patrick Fabian) let her go due to her anger issues. She and her teenage daughter Gretchen (Dylan Gelula) burn through their savings, and soon Jennifer is forced to get rid of her condo and move in with her mother Maggie (Jessica Walter). She also takes a job working in the bar run by her brother Wayne (Ethan Suplee) and his wife Stephanie (Nora Kirkpatrick). She asks her mother about her old friend Dina Simac (Missi Pyle), and she tells her that Dina doesn’t want to see her. She later runs into Dina at the bar, and Dina is forced to admit that things are not right between them, but expects Jennifer to know the reason. She does meet a nice guy named Ethan (Tommy Dewey) at the bar who has two daughters. Stephanie seems to want to lecture Jennifer about everything, and starts to drive Jennifer crazy. Jennifer tries to look for a more suitable job at an employment agency, but the ladies there, Ronnie (Cleo King) and Doreen (Jaime Moyer) only make fun of her when the learn that Jennifer used to make $250K a year. Jennifer’s mother is a counselor and offers to make Jennifer her patient. Jennifer has to wait on Dina’s table along with her L.A. Lesbians softball team. Jennifer forces Dina to tell her why she is mad at her, and Dina tells her it is because she changed. Dina needed her help by just being a friend when she went through her divorce, but Jennifer just threw money at the problem by giving her a gift card for a massage. Jennifer promises to start over like the old days and re-build the foundation of their friendship. Stephanie is just upset that Jennifer is taking a break from work so soon to talk to her. Gretchen and her mother chat about their new situation, and Gretchen is supportive and tells her that maybe things are happening in their lives as they should. Amanda Olmstead is Maggie’s new secretary Lorna. Trevor Larcom is the pinata boy Connor. Elizabeth Anna is Sandy with the L.A. Lesbians. Rachel DeGenaro is Connie from H.R. 8/31/22

  • 002. Health Club – 6/11/2014
    • Jennifer starts off the day by trying to keep a truck driver (Michael Villar) from repossessing her car but fails. Later at work, she invites Dina to go bowling with her. She also finds her membership card to Paradisa health club, and realizes she only went a couple times after paying $6000 for the membership. She goes to the club to see if she can cancel her membership and get a partial refund, but the receptionist (Cherie Thibodeaux) won’t give her anything. Instead, she decides to eat their fruit and hang out there for a while. She runs into her old friends Francine (Andrea Parker) and Carrie (Christina Moore) but won’t admit to her present condition of living at home and working in a bar. She accepts their invitation to go out to dinner at Luna’s on the same night she is supposed to go bowling. She tells Dina she will be late for bowling, but winds up staying longer at the dinner than expected. Because she can’t afford to pay for it, she tells Francine and Carrie that it is her birthday, so they not only treat her but also order her a cake and more champagne, causing her to miss her bus. Dina is furious to be stood up, so Jennifer offers to buy tickets to see the Black Keys at the Bowl. The wind up in the furthest possible seats in the back, but Jennifer runs into Francine and Carrie there, who invite her to come down to their box and meet Dale (Paul Ganus) from Berkeshire Hathaway who might have a business opportunity for Jennifer. She keeps trying to run back and forth between Dina and the others in order to make the connection with Dale, but eventually Dina follows Jennifer to see what is going on. She realizes that Jennifer is once again standing her up for her old friends, so Jennifer makes a speech about how she’s really living with her mother, working in a bar, and how she’d rather be with her best friend Dina in the back with a box of wine. Unfortunately, Dina has already walked away to go back to their seats, so Jennifer joins her. Dina admits that she too likes pretentious things but can’t afford it so readily. Jennifer then takes Dina to the Paradisa spa, where Dina too can pretend to be pretentious with the ladies there. Meanwhile, Maggie tries to tell Wayne that he and Stephanie need to have a baby. Wayne won’t listen to his mother, so she convinces Stephanie that they need to have a baby. With Stephanie on board, so is Wayne… but neither of them can stop thinking about Connie as they try to conceive. As they are both prepared to tell her to stay out of the baby-making process, Connie starts to remember all of the work Gretchen causes her, so she tells Wayne and Stephanie that she’s not really ready at this point for them to have a baby. This however doesn’t stop them from their own baby-making process. Justin Giddings is Russel the usher. Neil Barton is Danny the delivery guy. Jacob Zelonky is the lucky boxed wine kid. Corey Walter Johnson is the hipster with the back pocket tickets. Greg Barnett is the loser in front of the girls. 8/31/22
  • 003. Triangle – 6/18/2014
    • Jennifer realizes her mother has no boundaries sometimes allows her patients to hang around in the house when she meets one named Cheryl (Kathleen Wilhoite), who seems to know all about her. Meanwhile, Wayne wants to get to know Gretchen better and invites her out for coffee. Gretchen is having trouble making friends, and when a clique of girls named Dahlia (Ashlee Fuss), Sophie (Britt Baron), and a third girl see her with Wayne, they make fun of her even more. Wayne then tries to confront the girls when he sees them later, but they rip him to shreds. He tells Stephanie about it, so she uses her old ‘mean girls’ skills and manages to make them all feel bad about themselves. Later, they run into Gretchen and ask her to hang out with them, but Wayne isn’t through with them and tells them that he called their parents and they will be grounded. When they find this out, they are done with Gretchen again, although Wayne is happy when Gretchen calls him ‘Uncle Wayne’. Jennifer has begun dating the beer delivery guy David (Ben Lawson). When Dina stars asking questions about him, Jennifer realizes that their relationship has been purely physical and tries to get him to open up to her, but he remains a closed book. Later she finds David in her house and realizes that he is seeing her mother as a patient. Her mother puts up the metaphorical ‘firewall’ and won’t give her much information about him. Jennifer and Dina then go through her files and find a book of notes about him, but Maggie comes home and nearly catches them. Jennifer manages to hide in the closet, while Dina pretends she is there to unload her feelings. Maggie then spends an entire session getting Dina to talk about how everything seems to be about Jennifer. Eventually Jennifer has had enough and demands that David either stop seeing her mother professionally or break it off with her. David chooses to stay with Maggie’s therapy. David increases his sessions to twice a week, and Jennfier gets tired of hearing his truck pull up at the house. However, when he shows up one time, he tells Jennifer he wants to see her and that he wants to be with her and stop her mother’s therapy. The next time they have sex, he does indeed open up to her, but goes on forever with his long list of problems. Maggie later tells Jennifer that he really had tons more issues to work on in his court-appointed therapy. Jennifer realizes that her mother was just looking out for her after all.   • 004. The Virginity Thief – 6/25/2014
    • Gretchen finds Jennifer’s old yearbook under her bed and shares it with her and Dina. They spot an old boyfriend named Frank Perinsky (Steve Howey), to whom Jennifer lost her virginity. Dina also claims she lost her virginity to Frank… and both were told by Frank that he lost his virginity to him. They find out that he still lives locally, so they go stalk his house and throw a garden gnome through his front window. He comes outside and spots them as they attempt to flee. Later he comes into the bar to see Jennifer and tells her that he actually wanted to apologize to her for the way he was in high school. He says that if he were smart, he would have pursued her and her alone. He even asks her for a date so that he can make it up to her. She agrees but decides not to tell Dina. He agrees that if it would hurt Dina that she should just keep their dating to herself. However, he is also dating Dina and telling her the same thing. He also finds out from Jennifer how much Dina likes candy corn, so he brings that to her. Then he finds out from Dina how much Jennifer likes beef sticks and brings that to her. However, he tips his hand when both of the girls have I Only Wanna Be with You as their cell phone ringtone, which was his old high school favorite. This makes them want revenge again so when they see him advertising his new sporting goods store on TV, they go there to see him. He isn’t there, but they also meet his other girlfriend Caroline (Cerina Vincent). When he comes back, the confront him, but tell him that it might be fun to have a threesome in his office. Once they get him naked, they shove him out onto the sales floor and lock the door. They also announce that everything in the store is free, which he finds hard to stop without any clothes on. Meanwhile, while showing Jennifer how to properly clean the glasses at the bar, Stephanie chips her diamond wedding ring. When they take it to the jeweler (Phil Abrams), they find out it is a fake. It turns out that it was Wayne’s mother, so they take it to her, and she tells them that she had given them the fake and kept the original, thinking that Wayne would screw up the marriage. He carries on about how hurt he is in order to give his mother a guilt trip so that she would try to make it up with a lavish gift. Sure enough, she offers them a second honeymoon to Hawaii, but Wayne wants to hold out for something even better. Eventually, Stephanie convinces Wayne to accept the trip, but as soon as Wayne hears his mother mention a larger gift, he backs out of the Hawaii trip. Then he realizes that the ‘bigger’ gift is one that transcends cost; it is a poem she wrote. Jeff Blum is Jeff the taxi driver. 10/20/22
  • 005. Staycation – 7/9/2014
    • Jennifer has promised Gretchen that she will take her to Bora Bora if she got good grades on her SAT test, but now that she has lost her money. Instead, she plans to have a weekend ‘staycation’ during which she will simulate Bora Bora in the backyard by the pool. She coaxes Wayne into giving her the weekend off, which causes a fight between him and Stephanie. Dina hints that she’d like to attend the Bora Bora weekend, but Jennifer tries to make a mother-daughter event, until Gretchen begs her to let her come. Gretchen still remembers all of her vacation with her mother that ended up with Jennifer mostly getting on business calls. Although Jennifer promises to avoid that this time, she gets an interview with a guy named Tobey Quince (Alan Pietruszewsi) and has to take a break from Bora Bora to take it. The afternoon is further interrupted when Wayne comes over to mope because he had a big fight with Stephanie for letting Jennifer take off. Jennifer leaves to go talk to Stephanie to see what would make her forgive Wayne. Since it is just an apology that is needed, Jennifer comes back home and swipes Wayne’s phone and claims all responsibility for the fight. While she is away, Gretchen starts drinking rum, although Dina is hesitant to let her do so. Jennifer gets a follow-up interview with Brian Driscoll (Tom Virtue), who tells her that the CEO will like her. Gretchen gets board and heads to her friend’s house. She realizes that Gretchen is gone, while Wayne plays video games, and Stephanie shows up to make up with him. When she finds out that it was Jennifer texting, they get into a fight again. They finally agree that the whole thing was Jennifer’s fault. A ukulele player named Jimmy (Alex Chu) shows up, as CEO Pete Dodd (Jonathan Emerson) calls. Jennifer can’t focus on the interview, causing Pete to be put off and hang up on her. Jennifer goes and gets Gretchen, who tells her that she saw how hard her mother was trying, and that she really doesn’t have to make up for anything in the past. She says the only thing that’s making her miserable is Jennifer trying to make up because she mistakenly thinks she screwed up her life. The three ladies return to their Bora Bora luau. Stephanie schedules Jennifer to work all the following weekend so that Stephanie and Wayne can go to Palm Springs. Dina has a fling with Jimmy. Clint Culp is Steve, the 7-7 bar customer. 2/24/23
  • 006. School Trouble – 7/16/2014
    • Jennifer finds a note in Gretchen’s coat indicating that she has been fighting in school. Gretchen says that it is no big deal, and that a girl pushed her, and she pushed her back. Jennifer then suspects that Gretchen has been stealing from her purse. Jennifer thinks that she is acting out after all of the craziness she’s been through in having to move. She vows to be more present in her life, but as soon as she tries to tell her this, Gretchen announces that she has been suspended from school. Jennifer marches down to the school, which is her alma mater. After encountering sullen boy (Daniel Cummings) who tries to ignore her, she gets into see Principal Whitehorn (Dennis Haskins), who still holds a grudge against her and Dina for smoking pot in their car regularly and filling his desk with fish. He tells Jennifer that Gretchen smashed in the window of his car and he is suspending her. They get in a shouting match, and Jennifer is forced to sit outside in the hallway. Meanwhile, Dina is checking out the fact that her basketball trophy in the school trophy case has been replaced by another one that has Marissa Rosales’ (Aeriel Miranda) name on it. Dina challenges her and offers her fifty dollars to play her one on one. Dina is chased by a security guard (Scott Broderick) and forced to sit with Jennifer. Maggie shows up at the school to rescue her family, and Mr. Whitehorn lets Gretchen off the hook because of his respect for Maggie. Jennifer goes to see her old housekeeper Lupe (Carla Jiminez) and her co-worker Alma (Tonito Castro) to try and gets some advice. As the ladies make fun of Jennifer, Lupe tells her that the source of the problem is likely a boy and that Jennifer should follow her. Jennifer takes the advice and follows Dina and a boy named Taylor (Nick Roux) into an empty room at the school. When she barges in on her, she finds that they are developing pictures in a dark room. Later, Gretchen brings Taylor to the house, and tells her mother that she wasn’t guilty of any of the things that she’s been accused of. Maggie admits that it was she who took the money from her purse. Taylor tells Gretchen that his ex-girlfriend, the same girl who pushed her, was the one who broke the car window and then had her friends blame it on Gretchen. Jennifer feels terrible that she hasn’t trusted Gretchen. She brings her some treats to her room, only to find her in bed with Taylor. She is furious and grounds her, warning her that she doesn’t want her to make the same mistakes Jennifer did when she was that young. Gretchen assures her that she never wants to be like her mother. Wayne is excited about the fact that Stephanie is ovulating. He is anxious to get her pregnant and gives it all he has to do so. Unfortunately, Stephanie takes a pregnancy test and finds out that she’s not pregnant. After Wayne leaves the room, Stephanie takes her birth control pills. Dina wins in the one-on-one match, but it is unsatisfying because Marissa gets the $50, as well as a basketball scholarship. Adam Mondschein is Ernie, a sports fan at the bar. 2/24/23
  • 007. Three Dates with My Mother – 7/23/2014
    • Joy feels that her mother never listens to her, especially after she allows Gretchen to go the movies with friends when she is supposed to be at home working on a paper. Jennifer then starts to see a psychiatrist named Dr. Carl Wessman (Kurt Fuller) but doesn’t want her mother to know since she is a psychologist and doesn’t believe in psychiatry. However, when Wessman asks Jennifer to bring in her family for a therapy session, she is forced to tell her. She reluctantly agrees to go, along with Gretchen, Wayne, and Stephanie. Amidst Maggie’s many complaints about the processes Wessman is using, they all define their family roles, and Wayne admits out loud that he wants more power in the relationship. Jennifer tells the doctor that despite being a therapist herself, her mother can’t admit that her own family has any issues, even though Jennifer feels like a failure after her recent setbacks. Wessman assigns Wayne to claim his power, Stephanie to support him unconditionally, Gretchen to be free to make her own decisions for the week, and Jennifer and Maggie to go on a date together. Wayne’s claim to power turns out being to add a Karaoke machine in the bar, of which Dina takes full advantage. Jennifer and Maggie go out to dinner and Jennifer wants to talk about times where her mother must’ve had personal or professional setbacks. However, Maggie is more interested in talking to the diners Stan (Thomas W. Ashworth) and Barry (Kim Robillard) at the table next to them. Everyone checks in with Dr. Wessman after a week, but only Wayne seems to be happy with the results. Gretchen pops in to say she doesn’t want to participate. Later, Stephanie is surprised when Wayne manages to fill the bar, but then finds out that he is offering Happy Hour every hour, a major loss leader. When she shows them how much they are going to lose, he throws everyone out of the bar. Jennifer locks her mother in an elevator and makes her listen as she tells her that she failed at her job and wants her to recognize that. Maggie ends up pulling out the ‘stop’ button on the elevator causing it to get stuck. Maggie gets petrified of being stuck, even after a janitor tells them that help is on the way. Wayne tells Stephanie that his next big move is to delegate all of his power to her, so Stephanie stops Nina from singing and smashes the Karaoke machine with a baseball bat. On the elevator, Maggie tells Jennifer how hard it was to live with her mother, as she criticized every little thing that Maggie did wrong. Jennifer realizes that this is why her mother has so much trouble being vulnerable. Jennifer explains that it wasn’t earth-shattering, but they got along better after that. Gretchen privately tells Dr. Wessman to order them to end the experiment of giving her complete freedom, as it is getting too hard to top herself. Then she departs on a helicopter. The next time Jennifer and her mother come to an elevator, they decide to take the stairs. Frank Drank is Psycho Steve. James Thomas Gilbert is the bar patron Richard. 7/23/23
  • 008. Dads and Dogs – 7/30/2014
    • Jennifer prepares for Gretchen’s 16th birthday party and gets a call from Gretchen’s father Adam Peterson (Chris D’Elia). Jennifer had met him in high school and competed to get him, then got immediately pregnant with Gretchen. Adam took off to tour with his band and had occasionally been in and out of Gretchen’s life. Both Maggie and Dina have crushes on him and are excited to see him. Gretchen says if he is on time she will see him, but if not, she has plans with friends. Adam does in fact show up late, but then he makes up for it by giving Gretchen a car, which he can now afford since cutting a record deal with his band. Meanwhile, Wayne gets a dog named Buck, which he thinks he needs to complete their family once Stephanie gets pregnant. Wayne finds that he doesn’t have the authority in his voice to train him, so Stephanie takes over. She also admits to Buck that she is actually too scared get pregnant and has been taking birth control pills. Jennifer admits to Dina that she is both resentful of and attracted to Adam at the same point. She winds up sneaking him into her room to sleep with him. As he is sneaking out, he spots Gretchen’s boyfriend Taylor sneaking in. Adam stops him by tackling him outside the window, and the neighbors call the cops, so Officer Clark (David Figlioli) comes to the scene. They have a big blowup when Gretchen is incredulous that her parents are sneaking around together, while Adam blames Jennifer for Taylor sneaking in, while she blames him for never being involved and then suddenly trying to be a father. Jennifer tells Nina that she’s not sure if she’s into Adam or not and doesn’t like how he waltzes in and suddenly wants to be a father. Adam tells Wayne that this is what Jennifer always wanted, but now she doesn’t seem to want to be involved, as Wayne laments not being able to train his dog. Adam later apologizes to Gretchen for the Taylor incident, and also tells Gretchen that it was the biggest mistake of his life to not be around for her. They decide to go out for ice cream together, with Gretchen driving the new car. As Nina fixes Jennifer’s car, she tells her that her father is finally stepping up and that she should take advantage of that. Jennifer wants to go talk to Gretchen and takes off in the car that Nina was working on, not realizing that Nina realized she forgot to put one of the parts back in it. She pulls up behind Adam and Gretchen, and they think she is going to yell at them, so they take off. Jennifer takes off in her sputtering car and tries to catch off with them. She finally pulls up next to them, but they take off when she is looking away and Jennifer inadvertently begins talking to a truck driver (Andrew Rollins DeWitt) about his father. A cop then pulls Jennifer over, and while he is writing her a ticket, Jennifer talks to Gretchen and Adam about how she thinks it is a good idea that they spend time together. After Wayne accidentally lets Hank have chocolate cake, he stays up all night nursing him back to health. Wayne decides he might not be a bad father after all, which brings Stephanie to uncontrollable tears. Adam decides to go back on tour, much to the disappointment of Maggie. Gretchen opens her gift from her mother, restored version of the dolls of themselves that they used to play with when Gretchen was little. Gretchen appreciates the gift and tells her mother that she knows that she will be the one who is always there for her, while her father will come and go. Joy thinks it is just as well that he is leaving since her stomach goes to knots every time she sees him now. However, Adam then stops by the house and tells everyone that he had decides to postpone his tour and stay in L.A., much to the thrill of Maggie.   • 009. Everybody Loves Adam – 8/6/2014
    • Jennifer and Dina sit through one of Gretchen’s school debates, which they have trouble enduring. Adam shows up in time to see Gretchen’s team win. Jennifer is shocked to see that Adam seems to know everyone there. Adam is also able to spout back facts from the debate to Gretchen. Meanwhile, when Stephanie chokes on one of Wayne’s slider bites, Wayne panics looking for directions to the Heimlich maneuvers, while Dina jumps over the bar and saves her. While Wayne feels emasculated, Stephanie is indebted to Dina and insists that they become best friends. Dina is very uncomfortable with it but sees a huge advantage in having Stephanie wipe out her bar tabl. Gretchen ‘forgets’ to tell Jennifer about the next debate competition, so when they come back to the bar after winning it, Gretchen’s debate coach (Robert Mailhouse) doesn’t even realize that Jennifer is her mother, while Adam again gets the credit for raising Gretchen. Wayne gets another blow to his ego when Gretchen tells Wayne she doesn’t need him for the father-daughter dance since her father is now back. As her new best friend, Stephanie confesses to Dina that she is taking birth control while she and Wayne are supposedly trying to get pregnant. When Gretchen changes her Facebook profile picture to a photo of her and Adam, Jennifer’s jealousy reaches a high and she goes to talk to her mother and expresses how much it hurts for Adam to getting so much credit after Jennifer has done everything to raise her. Dina starts to feel guilty about the secret she is keeping and starts encouraging Stephanie to tell Wayne what she is doing. Jennifer makes a video collage of photo memories on Facebook, but accidentally includes a picture of Gretchen applying acne medicine to her back, which naturally angers Gretchen. She initially refuses to go to the dance, but after Jennifer apologizes to her, she decides to go. However, Gretchen tells her that she agreed to go because she was texting her father and he helped her decide. Wayne shows up at the house with the corsage he was going to give Gretchen, so he and Jennifer head to the dance to give it to her. Jennifer pins the corsage on Gretchen and apologizes for acting like an idiot. Before she leaves, Adam introduces the first dance, but he surprises Jennifer by giving her the credit for being both a mother and father to Gretchen and giving her the first dance with Gretchen. Wayne runs into Gretchen’s friend Zoe (Marissa Cuevas), who was hoping her father would be home from Afghanistan in time to attend the dance. Wayne offers to dance with her for the night. Zoe declares Wayne her hero, but then her real father shows up, disappointing Wayne once again. Beth Crosby is Marcy, the cupcake lady. Lawrence Kao is the nerdy debating student. Anthony R. Jones is the dad disturbed by Wayne’s presence at the dance. 11/26/23
  • 010. Jennifer’s Song – 8/13/2014
    • Jennifer is in a great mood because she has been having sex with Adam and making breakfast for Gretchen at Adam’s house, causing her to feel like they are a family again. Meanwhile, Wayne gets tested at a sperm doctor, while Stephanie continues to take birth control pills and stew as she wonders why Jennifer is happy. Adam offers for Jennifer to move into his place, and then when his album royalties start rolling in, move back into Jennifer’s old neighborhood so that Gretchen can return to her old school. With Gretchen ecstatic when she hears the offer, Jennifer agrees to it off the cuff. When Jennifer and Adam leave for the day, they accidentally take each other’s phones. When a girl named Cherie Warner (Megan Stevenson) stops by Adam’s house claiming to be Adam’s wife, Jennifer starts to freak out. Adam returns and he explains that he and Cherie have a Green Card marriage, as she is a member of Adam’s band and is a Canadian bass player. Jennifer accepts the explanation, but Dina suggests that Adam is doing the marriage for money. When Jennifer tries to make a call on Adam’s cell phone, she discovers that the last person he called was the unemployment office. Stephanie goes to see Maggie and ends up asking her for some counseling service. She admits to her that she’s taking the birth control pills while pretending they’re trying to get pregnant. Jennifer goes to unemployment office and meets with agents Ronnie and Doreen, who once again are condescending to her and give her no information. Dina leads the charge in going through Adam’s mail and find a note about his unemployment debit card. They also find out that Cherie is nurse and not a base player and had written Adam a check for $10,000. They head over to the recording studio to meet with Adam. The receptionist (Meredith Pyle) refers them to studio owner (Dean Cameron), who tells Jennifer that Adam owes him $8000 and hasn’t been there in weeks. When Jennifer gets home, she finds out that Gretchen’s car has been repossessed, although Adam has told Gretchen that there was a recall, and it would be back. Wayne comes over and tells his mother that his sperm count is plentiful and ready for battle. She tries to tell him the truth using a fake third party as the subject of the story, but Wayne doesn’t understand it and just thinks his mother is going crazy. Jennifer finally gets to confront Adam about everything, and he admits to the car repossession, his unemployment, and the recording studio, but maintains that he loves her. He then spills wine on himself and tries to escape the restaurant through the bathroom window, but she is ahead of him and meets him outside to tell him that things are over. He tells her that he had the best of intentions, but that his album didn’t sell as well as he thought. She tells him that it is okay for him to have his dreams, but not at Gretchen’s expense. She tells Dina that she and Adam are going to tell Gretchen the truth. Jennifer recalls that she grew up with an unreliable and unpredictable father as well. When Adam gets ready to tell Gretchen the truth of why they can’t move in with him, Jennifer steps in and takes the blame for him. Adam tells Gretchen that they can still hang out and that he will call her. Maggie tells Stephanie that she needs to tell Wayne the truth, but before she can even agree to do it, Wayne stops by the pharmacist to return some sperm enhancer, and the pharmacist Phil (Pete Carboni) sends him home with her birth control pills. That night when Jennifer gets home from work, she finds her mother on the couch making out with her father Mike (Stacy Keach). Marnie Crossen is the pharmacy clerk.
