To be absolutely honest, I have never seen one single episode of Dynasty nor The Big Valley, the TV series that Linda Evans is best known for. In fact the most meaningful thing that Linda Evans starred in as far as I’m concerned is her five appearances in The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (yes I’m obsessed with that show) when she played girlfriend Mary or Linda or Shirley, depending on which episode you see, when she was still acting under the name Linda Evenstad. Or her small part in the classic Beach Blanket Bingo. But still her iconic fame which mostly stems from her part in the famous prime time soap Dynasty didn’t escape me.
In fact, it didn’t stop me from shelling out $30 for the autographed photo seen above and to get a photo with her when she appeared at the Hollywood Collectors Show on October 4, 2008. And the fact that she was handing out free Hershey’s Kisses sweetened the pot even more, so to speak. This enabled me to pose with the said piece of chocolate candy and proudly and truthfully declare that I had gotten a Kiss from Linda Evans.

I think a real kiss from Linda Evans would be much sweeter than a Hershey’s kiss.

In the 80’s we used to enjoy a quality catfight amongst the wealthy ladies, such as Crystal and Alexis Carrington. These days, all we get are Jolene and Lula Belle on Jerry Springer. My, how times have changed!
