megan3.jpgWell over two years have passed since this website began on the day that my first nephew was born on September 13, 2006. Now I proudly present Adam’s new sister Megan Anne Ockerman. She was born at 9:10am this morning, coming in at 6 pounds 13 ounces, and 19 inches long. Denise had been scheduled to be induced on this day if she had not gone into labor beforehand.

She and Aaron reported to the hospital at 5:30am this morning and quickly got through what must have been the most pain-free labor in the history of woman. My Mom was watching Adam back at their house at the time and then took him to see his new baby sister. Because Adam had been told beforehand that Megan would surely cry because she was unable to talk, he was quick to point out “She can’t talk!” when Megan did in fact cry.

I will be making the trek to Columbus the weekend to visit with my new niece and will surely supply a barrage of photos at that time.
