Brad's Musings and Meanderings

random acts of quoting

wat.jpgContinuing with a batch of recently-located slides from our 1975 Florida trip. Between the many activities of this fun-filled (but mostly lost-from-memory) vacation, including a day at Disney World, Sunken Gardens, and a visit with Ira and Mildred (highlighted in more detail here) – we did a lot of swimming as indicated in these nice shots. I used to love to swim when I was younger but gradually seemed to enjoy it less at times when I was overweight. You will soon enjoy photos of me in 1985 where I am laying out in a t-shirt. As for now – I enjoy swimming once again and spent a lot of this past summer in the refreshing waters.

Robby (above left) and Lora (below) provided suitable playmates as we became water-logged in the summer sun.

Bill and Dottie watched over us to make sure we didn’t drown.

Mom was lookin’ good as she kept an eye on us as well.

I was always up to no good – even submerged in water.
