fl11My previous two days in Rome with Chris had been utterly exhausting and we had walked nearly the entire length of the city. My feet were achy and blistered and I could have slept for a day…but I wasn’t about to wimp out. Chris really showed his stamina as he reported to work on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. peter1I had already pretty much resigned myself to flying to New York to attend the April 18, 2009, Chiller Theatre show based on the celebrity guestlist – but if I had need a kicker to put me over the edge, it came late in the game when it was announced that KISS’ original drummer Peter Criss would be attending. Obviously anyone who knows me realized that I have been a huge KISS fan since the first grade (see my soapbox on my Big 7 bands), at which time I began collecting, idolizing, and listening to KISS records on a daily basis. Honduras and Home

h12Friday, April 3, 2009, was our last day in Guatemala and there were no scheduled events for this day. Earlier in the week, however, we were given some options of additional trips that could be taken. When I got ahold of the list of available trips, my eyes immediately focused on a trip just over the border into Honduras to visit the Copán Mayan ruins located there. Mostly this was the opportunity to step foot into another country. The price was quite high for Bob and I to do this, but once a good portion of our tour group jumped on the bandwagon, the price came drastically down.

Stalking Erika

erika2The title may sound like a good name for either a dumb new sitcom or even an intense horror movie, but in reality it would appear to the average passerby as to my current relationship with former Playmate Erika Eleniak. While some may drool over her centerfold in Playboy or her role as Shauni McClane in Baywatch, neither of them mean all that much to me (although I’ll be the first to admit, she certainly was HOT during the late 80’s and 90’s).
