Thursday, May 7th, 2009

janGeri Reischl’s designation as “Fake Jan” came when she was cast to portray Jan Brady is the 1976-77 revival of The Brady Bunch series known as The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, a musical-variety show that has been voted one of the worst programs in the history of television. Truth be told, although the original actress Eve Plumb was loved far and wide in the role of Jan Brady, Geri probably had the most musical talent of any of the kids in the show. Guatemala City

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

axWe had another relatively leisurely morning on Monday, March 30, 2009, as we set out to tour Guatemala City. She also reprised the same role throughout the run of its spinoff series Angel.   Read the rest of this entry »

Missy Fodor: Still With That Great Laugh

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

missy2I was a little skeptical about requesting Missy Fodor as a friend on Facebook when I first saw her on there. Afterall, she may have remembered what an upstart and troublemaker I had been at times throughout my formative years at Fairbrook Elementary, Ankeney Junior High, and Beavercreek High School and decided to deny me! We had attended every school year together with the exception of  our senior year at BHS – twelve years in all. So over the years we had crossed paths many times. Read the rest of this entry »
