Disneyland ’08

dis19Any day at one of the Disney parks is bound to be a good one and my visit to Disneyland on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 was no exception. Trying to shed the bad memory of the night before when I missed meeting David Garrison at the Pantages Theatre, I dove headlong into another great day with my friends at the Happiest Place on Earth. 2009 Is Not Cooperating

feb1I would so love to be reporting that 2009 has smiled down upon me in an abundance of health and prosperity, but so far that just hasn’t been the case. My job on this website is to merely chronicle the events in my life and call them as I see them. I understand perfectly that some of the ‘bad luck’ I’ve experienced so far this year pales in comparison to many of those who are less fortunate. Nightmare in Burbank

helHeather Langenkamp was best known for her role as Nancy Thompson in the ever-popular and imaginative slasher film Nightmare on Elm Street. She went on to star in the franchise’s first real sequel to follow the film’s storyline (discounting the idiotic second installment), Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. And then she appeared again in the series’ most interesting installment Wes Craven’s New Nightmare in which she actually played herself being stalked by the spirt of good old Freddy Kruger. 33aClub 33 is legion among fans of Walt Disney and all things Disneyland. It’s the place that many have heard of but few have ever actually been able to experience. Naturally the mysteriousness alone was enough to whet my appetite and force me to do my best to make sure that a visit to the establishment became part of my “Dreams Come True Tour” of Southern California during my week there in October. After many years of drooling over theĀ mental images and speculationĀ of what could be found inside Club 33, I finally got my chance to enter its doors on October 8, 2008.
