Atlanta 2010 – Part 1

Saturday, September 25th, 2010

When I first planned out the Disney World trip that I took with Erin and her kids in July, I had wanted to start out in Atlanta before moving on to Plains, Georgia. However, after we added an additional day at Disney and realized we could get started until late morning on our first Saturday, we nixed the visit to Atlanta. But one interesting attraction that might be found there is the National Automobile Museum. This acclaimed museum first opened in 1989 to showcase the collection of gaming pioneer Bill Harrah. Today it contains over 200 cars, displayed within impressive and dynamic displays. Bob and I got there when the museum opened at 9:30am on the morning of Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
