• 001. A Side of Chile – 9/24/1998
  • Jesse Warner (Christina Applegate) is a single mother living in Buffalo, New York, raising her young son “Little” John (Eric Lloyd) while working for her father John (George Dzundza) at a German bar. She lives with her brother, John Jr. (John Lehr), who has voluntarily decided to remain silent, and Darren (David DeLuise) comes to stay with her as well. An attractive new neighbor named Diego Vasquez (Bruno Campos) asks Jesse out on a date, and she tries her best to refuse him despite having a very obvious crush on him. She agrees to do laundry with him, and they end up kissing and falling asleep in the car all night. She tells him that she has to break it off with him because she is so busy with life – but she truly is just afraid of losing him like she did her ex-husband. John Jr., without speaking, convinces her to go see him. Meanwhile, Darren enters a get-rich scheme by purchasing 8000 garden gnomes, but when they arrive, he finds they are unpainted. Liza Snyder plays Linda. Jennifer Milmore is Carrie. Fred Stoller is the delivery man Fred. Christopher Darga is the sleazy bar patron. 10/21/14

• 001. Fundraiser – 4/22/2012
  • Vice President of the United States Selina Meyer has decided to make the Clean Jobs Commission her legacy – with the help of her staff: Chief of Staff Amy Brookheimer (Anna Chlumsky), personal aide Gary Walsh (Tony Cole), Director of Communications Mike McLintock (Matt Walsh), and personal assistant Sue Wilson (Sufe Bradshaw). The staff is constantly at odds with White House liaison Jonah Ryan (Timothy Simons). Selina attempts to gather support for a filibuster reform bill, but only a handful of Senators show up at a gathering because one of her staff members sent out a Tweet pushing coin starch utensils instead of plastic, angering both the plastic and oil industries – who have a good portion of Senators in its pocket. Selina seeks help from Senator Hallowes (Kate Burton) who is rather cold to her and comments that she was “hoisted by her own retard” – a comment that Selina repeats during an uncomfortable speech, much to the chagrin of the Mental Health groups. She also manages to steal Dan Egan (Reid Scott) from Hallowes’ staff. He had dated Amy in the past and is rather unscrupulous, but Selina needs his candor and effectiveness. Amy also mishandles the signing of a condolence card for Senator Reeves who passes away. She accidentally signs her own name instead of forging that of the VP. Gary is forced to retrieve it from Jonah, but only gets it on the condition that he arrange a date with Amy. Will Love is Phillip Dorsey. 10/18/14

• 001. I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha – 9/17/1964
  • Madison Avenue executive Darrin Stephens (Dick York) meets an attractive girl named Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) and the two fall in love and get married. She does not reveal to her husband until after their wedding that she is in fact a witch. Her mother Endora (Agnes Moorehead) does not approve of Samantha marrying a mortal man but thinks that as soon as she tells him the truth, he will leave her. However, Darrin loves her and wants to keep her as his wife anyway…with the stipulation that she not use her witchcraft. When an ex-girlfriend of Darrin named Sheila Sommers (Nancy Kovack) finds out that Darrin has gotten married while she was out of town, she invites Darrin and Samantha to a dinner party in an attempt to embarrass Samantha by telling them that it is casual when it is really formal. She seats Samantha away from Darrin and continually flirts with him and also takes every opportunity to belittle Samantha. After a while Samantha has had a enough and uses her powers to embarrass Sheila by causing the party to unravel. Darrin forgives her but reminds her that she has promised to not use witchcraft, but when she clean up a messy kitchen with the twitch of her nose, she tells herself that she will wean off it gradually. C. Lindsay Workman is Doctor Koblin, Gene Blakely is Dave, Paul Barselow aka Paul Barselou is the bartender Al. The Narrator is Jose Ferrer. 10/18/14

• 001. Revenge – 10/2/1955
  • Carl (Ralph Meeker) and Elsa Spann (Vera Miles) have moved to a beach-side California trailer park so that Elsa can recover from a recent nervous breakdown. After Carl leaves for work, Elsa gabs with her neighbor Mrs. Ferguson (Francis Bavier) then lays out in the sun in her bathing suit, although it is clear that Mrs. Ferguson disapproves. When Carl returns home, he finds Elsa on the floor, the victim of some variety of assault by an intruder. The police and Elsa’s doctor (John Gallaudet) arrive at the scene, and Elsa’s doctor recommends that they move out of the trailer park or that her breakdown might become permanent. Elsa answers questions as briefly as possible while maintaining a vacant stare. As the Spanns are driving around before finding a motel, Elsa points out the man (Ray Montgomery) who attacked her. Carl follows him to his hotel room and bludgeons him with a wrench. As they drive on, Elsa then points out yet another man and claims that he is the attacker…as polices sirens roar in the distance. In the narration epilogue it is revealed that Carl was caught, indicted, tried, and sentenced and paid his debt to society for taking the law in his own hands. Ray Teal is the police lieutenant. NOTE: This episode was directed by Alfred Hitchcock, who provides opening and closing remarks for this and each succeeding episode. 10/18/14

• 001. Buffy – 9/12/1966
  • Successful consulting engineer for Davis & Gaynor, Bill Davis (Brian Keith) lives the life of a playboy bachelor in Manhattan, assisted by his stiff English butler Giles French (Sebastian Cabot). Family member Fran Heiger (Louise Latham) shows up one night from Terra Haute, Indiana with Davis’s niece Buffy Patterson (Anissa Jones), the daughter of his late brother who was killed with his wife in a car accident. She has decided that Buffy does not get along with her husband, and before Bill can give her an answer, she has abandoned Buffy. Uncle Bill tries to convince Buffy that she might like to attend a school in Switzerland, but this causes her to run away and hide in the basement. With the help of his friend Miss Faversham (Heather Angel), French retrieves her and Uncle Bill tells her that she can stay with him. As Bill is getting ready to leave on a business trip for Peru, another relative Bess Melville (Barbara Perry) shows up with Buffy’s twin brother Jody (Johnny Whitaker). Bill rushes off leaving the kids with Mr. French. After he’s gone, relative Alice Grayson (Shirley O’Hara) shows up with their older sister, 15-year-old Cissy (Kathy Garver). Philip Ober is Bill’s business partner Ted Gaynor. Lisa Seagram is Bill’s date Miss Larrabee. Sandy Wirth is Bill’s other date Miss Hodges. 10/16/14
