The First TV and Movie Lois Lane

loisp2.jpgIf I were to argue that Noel Neill was the very first and most prolific actress to portray Superman heroine Lois Lane, you might respond that Phyllis Coates was actually both the first Lois Lane in both the movies and on TV. And you would be correct. Phyllis Coates portrayed Lois Lane for the duration of the first season of The Adventures of Superman and also starred in the theatrical movie Superman and the Mole-Men in 1951. loisn.jpgAs my one of my idols Jerry Seinfeld does, I have a healthy obsession with the Man of Steel. I like all things Superman. I collect the TV shows, movies, and cartoons. I even like the comic books although I haven’t really delved into collecting them – but I am fascinated with the legend. So naturally, being an avid autograph collector, I’ve made it my goal to get a signature from whomever I can associated with the legendary superhero, some of course being easier to obtain than others. Outside John Glenn ’72

1out2.jpgIn juxtaposition to a previous photo posting from 1972, “Inside John Glenn ’72” – which again, refers to the street on which my family lived until 1973 rather than the astronaut himself – here is the sequel, “Outside John Glenn ’72.” Here you will find some nice colorful photos taken on the outside of our little abode in the Spring and early Summer months of 1972. As you can see in the pictures, I greatly enjoyed going outside and being pushed around in my stroller. A Very Productive Sunday in Virginia

asun17.jpgBob and I awoke bright and early in Colonial Beach on Sunday, August 5, 2007. It was going to be one of those days that have enough activities packed into it to last anyone else a week or more. We checked out of Doc’s Motor Court and chatted with the nice lady whose husband had built the place. She sent us on our way with some suggestions for things to do in the area. Of course we already had a relativley strict schedule we needed to stick to in order to get even half of the items on our itinerary accomplished.
