Wrapping Up the Summer of 1986
Saturday, September 11th, 2010Returning home from the amazing time that I had had at the Valley Forge Sons of the Desert convention brought with it a certain degree of melancholy to be sure. But I found solace in returning to the letter-writing campaign with my friends from Eco Adventures camp that I had began during the two week and a half between camp and the convention. Tuesday, September 7th, 2010The last trio of former Ankeney Chargers are three individuals whom I didn’t know all that well during school, but who all are fine individuals who share the bond with me of having attended a half-dozen years of school together. Even if none of us were that particularly close in school, I certainly knew them all well enough – and more importantly had a great time socializing with at the Beavercreek High School 20-year reunion on Saturday, July 17, 2010. One of the Freaks of Twin Peaks
Sunday, September 5th, 2010It had been quite a while since I had watched Twin Peaks, the bizarre, surreal, horrifying, backwoods, serial drama created by David Lynch. But my girlfriend Erin, who was a fan of the series, pointed it that it was a must that I meet, greet, and get an autograph of Kimmy Robertson, who played the quirky, squeaky Lucy Moran on the series, when I saw her at the Hollywood Show on Saturday, April 24, 2010.
