Michael Myers Is Everywhere

Monday, November 25th, 2013

mm1In case you’re keeping tally (or am I the only one?) of how many actors who have portrayed serial killer Michael Myers in the Halloween series of film that I’ve met, so far I’ve shared fourof them. The first two (Nick Castle and Will Sandin), who starred in the first film can be seen here. Dick Warlock (from the second film) and Tyler Mane from the Rob Zombie retool of the series can be seen here. My first meeting with Holly Marie Combs actually came earlier. Read the rest of this entry »

Maude’s Girl

Thursday, November 21st, 2013

maude2The fact that she was in a slew of horror films – The Fog, The Swamp Thing, Creepshow – (heck, she was even married to horror director John Carpenter for five years!), makes her an ideal guest for any of the myriad of horror shows cropping up all over the country. She was also in a batch of notable films such as Escape from New York (again, Carpenter), The Cannonball Run, and even the most recent Oscar winner, Argo. And she’d star as a guest in a plethora of TV shows from the 70’s to the present day. But with me it always came back to the sitcom. Read the rest of this entry »
