The End of the Road: Salem and Boston
Monday, December 30th, 2013Bob and I had been on the road for two full weeks, weaving throughout the New England states and east border of New York state, but it was nearly time for the road trip portion of our journey to come to an end. We awoke in Salem, Massachusetts on the morning of Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Clipper Ship Inn. We weren’t in a tremendous hurry that morning, and didn’t get out of our motel until around 9:30am. Lorenzo Lamas
Saturday, December 28th, 2013I pretty much never ever ever pay any mind to the soap opera stores that show up at the autograph shows from time to time. But I’ll admit that Lorenzo Lamas’ name is so deeply rooted in my head as the quintessential soap star that I went ahead and got him when he appeared at the Hollywood Show on April 21, 2012. To be honest, at the time I got him I couldn’t have named one single show that he had been in, but there are just same names that you know could have the potential to be a conversation starter…especially with a hairy chest like that! The Green Hornet
Friday, December 27th, 2013As a lover of superheroes and comic book lore, although I am not a comic book reader, adding the actor that played masked vigilante The Green Hornet in the TV series of the same name was a must. The show which ran just one season from 1966-1967 has become legendary mostly because martial artist Bruce Lee was the co-star of the series. It also remains a sought-after show because it is currently unavailable on DVD. Therefore I have never seen it. Read the rest of this entry »
