No Wyck. Rats.
Friday, November 14th, 2014As a Seinfeld fan, I was quite excited to meet Bruce Davison when he appeared at the Scarefest event in Lexington, Kentucky on September 15, 2013. Mr. Davison had portrayed the character Wyck Thayer in three episodes of the series. Wyck, referred to often as “Wink” by George Costanza, was the chairman of the Susan Ross Foundation, and as the leader he assumes that George had killed his own fiancee Susan. His part wasn’t exactly mammoth, but his part offered enough comical possibilities for George that he was definitely worth seeking out. Read the rest of this entry »

Wednesday, November 12th, 2014Collecting autographs and meeting celebrities for as long as I have teaches you a few things. For one, when you see someone particularly old – say over 90, for example – who is selling autographed photos of themselves, you’d better pay pretty close attention as to who they are. Because needless to say, there likely won’t be any more chances to get them. And secondly, if they have a photo of themselves with the Beatles on their table, it’s probably worth snatching up.
