From Nashville to Nightmare

nightmI have to be honest. I didn’t do much research on Ronee Blakley before I met her at the  Chiller Theatre show in Parsippany, New Jersey on April 26, 2014. I had noted that she played in the original Nightmare on Elm Street film as Nancy’s mother Marge Thompson, and I stopped right there. That was good enough for me. Of course if I had looked into her career a little bit further, I might have noticed that she carried one other ultra-special credential that would have made meeting her mandatory.  Read the rest of this entry »

Stay Away from Captain Howdy

exor1I’m sure you noticed that now and again I put up a celebrity encounter of an actor or actress who had a very small and possibly inconsequential role in some film or TV show that I like, but I don’t think you’ll encounter a performer who had less screen time than Eileen Dietz. When I say that I’m referring only to her role in the iconic Oscar nominated film The Exorcist. But as you can see below if you’re not familiar with her, that face won’t soon be forgotten and will likely to be pop up in some of your worst dreams.
