Those Acting Gigs… A Slippery Swope

Monday, February 26th, 2018

Tracy Brooks Swope is an actress who appeared at the Hollywood Show in Los Angeles on January 7, 2017. She made it onto my list because she had starred in a prominent role in one single episode of The Partridge Family, the fourth season offering Queen for a Minute, in which her character Frankie, a friend of Laurie’s, tries out for the school basketball team and is rejected because of her sex, leading to a battle of the sexes among the Partridges. The 2017 La La Land Sitcom Odyssey Part 1

Tuesday, February 20th, 2018

I’m pretty sure the Winter Hollywood Show in Los Angeles was earlier than it had ever been before, so consequently I was destined to take not one, but two vacations before I had even gotten out of the first month of 2017. The fun began on the morning of Wednesday, January 4, when I spring out of bed at 4:30, got showered and ready and left the house by 5:30. I picked up my Dad and drove to the Indianapolis airport, arriving by about 8am. Dad then took my car back to his house, and I waited for my 9:47am flight by eating some Aunite Anne’s in the airport.  Read the rest of this entry »
