car.jpgAlthough we are only a week away from Christmas Eve, temperatures are expected to reach the 60’s today. Already it is 53 degrees and it is only 8:30 a.m. Last week the temperatures went from the sixties to nine degrees and back again. This is easier than bearing the extreme cold, mind you, but this crazy weather is making me long for Summer again. And that means it’s time to begin my Myrtle Beach 2006 series of photos!

Grandpa Murphy, Mom, Ashleigh, Briana, and I left for Myrtle Beach on Saturday, July 29. We had just returned from the Augusta Sons convention two weeks before. In between trips, I opened the new Liberty Township Marketplace Kroger on July 20 and stayed at the Ramada in Cincy for a couple of days during the opening. Ashleigh had taken her trip to National Youth Conference in Colorado the week before Myrtle Beach; in fact, she had just arrived home the day before. It had been a busy Summer so far, and I, for one, was looking forward to the relaxation of Myrtle Beach.

To kick off the trip right, Ashleigh, Briana, and I kept ourselves busy in the car snapping photos with Ashleigh’s digital camera (the one she later had stolen). As always with Ashleigh and Briana, I needed to prepare myself to get into childish mode in order to have just as much fun as they do. Otherwise, they will drive you crazy, as this series of shots in which we took turns wearing Grandmpa Murphy’s hat indicates.

Next, we get to Myrtle Beach and have competitions

Bypass the trip and continue with 2006
