- 000. Star Wars: The Clone Wars – 8/10/2008
- NOTE: Although ultimately released as a theatrical film, this production was originally produced as three episodes of the series. Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi lead a Republic clone army against the Separatist droid army on the planet Christophsis. Anakin is reluctantly assigned a female Padawan named Ahsoka Tano, and through her cunning, they are able to win the battle. Meanwhile Jabba the Hutt’s (Kevin Michael Richardson) son Rotta (David Acord) has been kidnapped, and Count Dooku (Christopher Lee) of the Separatists works toward orchestrating it to look as if the Jedis are responsible, in order to ally with the Hutt family and gain control of the galaxy’s Outer Rim. Jedi Master Yoda assigns Anakin and Ahsoka to rescue Rotta from the jungle planet Teth, and Obi-Wan to head to the planet Tattooine to negotiate a treat with Jabba. Count Dooku’s apprentice Asajj Ventriss and his army ambush Anakin and Ahsoka upon their arrival, but they are able to work their way to the mountaintop monastery where the sick Rotta is being held. Dooku meets with Jabba to try to convince him to join the Separatists and tells Jabba that the Jedis plan to kill him and attack the Hutts. Anakin and Ahsoka escape the trap on Teth, and along with R2-D2, head toward Tattooine. Anakin’s secret wife Padme Amidala worries for Anakin’s safety, and unable to reach Jabba, she meets with Jabba’s uncle Ziro, who refuses to believe that the Jedi have nothing to do with the kidnapping and imprisons Amidala, after she hears Ziro admit that he is working with Dooku and had helped arrange the kidnapping. She tricks her captor into receiving a transmission from C-3PO, who then sends help for her. Dooku meets up with Anakin and demands he turn over Rotta, and they battle with light sabers. Dooku thinks that he kills Rotta, but Anakin reveals that Rotta is actually with Ahsoka, who is attacked by MagnaGuards. As she defeats them, Anakin faces Jabba who threatens to kill him. Even though Ahsoka beings back Rotta, Jabba still plans to kill them both… until Amidala’s transmission comes through showing Ziro admitting to the kidnapping. Jabba promises to punish Ziro, and agrees to the treaty with the Republic, asking Anakin to bring Dooku to justice. Dooku reports to the Emperor about the failure of the plan, but the Emperor still maintains that the tide of war is still in their favor. Yoda and Obi-Wan arrive to bring Anakin and Ahsoka back home. - Jedi Master General Yoda (Tom Kane) vies to convince King Katuunko (Brian George) of the system of Toydaria to form an alliance with the rebels and allow them to set up a base on their planet. Before he arrives at their meeting location on a neutral coral moon Rugosa, Count Dooku (Corey Burton) sends his apprentice Asajj Ventress (Nika Futterman) to Toydaria to dissuade Katuunko from accepting the alliance, claiming that the Jedis cannot even ensure their own survival. Yoda accepts the challenge and he and three Clone troopers, Thire, Jek, and Res (all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) battle against an entire Droid and tank battalion. Yoda is always one step ahead of them, and with the troopers’ help by shooting down an avalanche of rocks that land on a group of droidekas, are able to defeat the droids. Furious that the Confederacy had been defeated, Dooku orders Ventress to kill Katuunko, but Yoda stops her by using the Force, and Katuunko pledges his allegiance to the Republic. His ship and others fall victim to the ship Malevolence which houses the cannon, causing many casualties. Plo Koon and Clone troopers Sinker, Boost, and Wolffe escape in a pod and are able to fend off battle droids from killing them. Meanwhile when Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter) and his padawan Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) get word of their location, they leave station in the Bith System to go and assist. They are successful at engineering the escape of Plo Koon and his men but are nearly caught when they forget to shut down a medical droid (Tim Brock) and are located by General Grievous (Matthew Wood). They narrowly escape by going into hyperspace mode and are able to reveal the location of the Malevolence and its weapon to the Jedi council. However, since they disobeyed the orders of Mace Windu (Terrence ‘TC’ Carson), Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor), Yoda, and Chancellor Palpatine (Ian Abercrombie), Anakin must face the Jedi Council and brings Ahsoka with him since she was just as adamant as he was to assist. 12/31/17
- 003. Shadow of Malevolence – 10/10/2008

Meanwhile Dooku orders Grievous to attack the Republic’s medical station the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center. Kamanoan physician Nale Se (Gwendoline Yeo) attempts to evacuate her 60,000 patients, as Anakin and Ahsoka along with Plo Koon leads his Shadow Squadron toward the Malevolence. Anakin leads them through the smugglers’ Balmorra Run through the Kaliida Nebula, where they must maneuver through a sea of giant Neebray creatures. As the arrive at the medical center, the Malevolence comes out of hyperspace and fires its ion cannon at the Shadow Squadron, causing Anakin to lose roughly half of his Y-Wings. Anakin changes his plan and orders the squadron to attack the ion cannon, so that it overloads when it fires. Obi Wan and Admiral Wullf Yularen (Tom Kane) arrive on the scene and force the Malevolence to retreat. Anakin is congratulated by Nale Se but mourns the loss of his fighters and that he didn’t kill Grievous. 4/17/18
- 004. Destroy Malevolence – 10/17/2018
- Anakin and Obi-Wan and their crew continue their attempt to destroy the Malevolence ship, and it seems likely they will succeed since the Malevolence’s hyper-drive is damaged. Count Dooku however arranges for Grievous to take Senator Padme Amidala (Catherine Taber), who is Anakin’s love interest, and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) as hostage when she is tricked by Emperor Palpatine and sent to negotiate with the InterGalactic Banking Clan but is sent off course into the Malevolence’s tractor beam. Although she orders Anakin and the Republic forces to continue the attack, Anakin halts it. Padme rigs her ship to explode and then she and C-3PO hide, but Grievous survives the blast and sends droids to locate them. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and R2-D2 get on board the Malevolence and manage to rescue Padme from an underground train crash, but C-3PO is hit by one of the trains. Obi-Wan tries to deter the Malevolence crew from repairing the hyper-drive and battles Grievous, while Anakin and Padme tamper with the ship’s navigational system. The Republic members are all able to escape and return to their ship Twilight, as Grievous pursues them in his starfighter. The droids on board the Malevolence attempt to go into hyper-drive, but thanks to Anakin’s work on the navicomputer, the ship heads toward the moon and is destroyed. Grievous watches in horror from his starfighter, and ignores messages from Dooku, with whom he has now lost much credibility. Olivia d’Abo is the voice of female Jedi Luminara Unduli. 4/22/18
- 005. Rookies – 10/24/2008
- Working in the Outer Rim, many clones have been put into service without completing their training. Although it seems boring at their station on the Rishi moon, a group of clones are told by Sergeant O’Niner that their posts are among the most important because if the enemy can get by them, they could destroy Clone facilities on Kamino. Meanwhile Anakin continues to search the galaxy for General Grievous. Battle droids invade the moon disguised among a meteor shower. The Sergeant and several clones are massacred, but four clones escape in the exhaust vent. Grievous gets word of the successful invasion and contacts Asajj Ventress, who is on Kamino as a spy making preparations for a Separatist invasion that will wipe out the production of clones. Clones Captain Rex and Commander Cody arrive at the Rishi post for inspection but becomes suspicious of a droid disguised as a clone. One of the clones named Cutup is eaten by an giant Rishi eel. The remaining clones send up a flare seen by Cody and Rex, signaling that the clone they are dealing with is actually a droid in disguise. Rex take out the eel by shooting it in the eye, and they and the clones are able to shoot down enough clones to take control of the base. When the Separatist fleet arrives to do battle, the clones decide to blow up the base rather than let Grievous take it over. The clone Hevy is able to detonate the explosive liquid tibanna and is killed in the process. This also signals the Republic who arrive and drive off Grievous and his men. The remaining two clones Fives and Echo are presented medals by Rex. 12/10/18
- 006. Downfall of a Droid – 11/7/2008
- Although Anakin is warned by Obi-Wan to leave the Bothawui system to regroup after multiple attacks by the Separatists, Anakin thinks he has a plan to foil General Grievous. As Grievous initiates an attack through an Asteroid field, he wrongly assumes that the asteroids will provide coverage from a rear attack. Anakin’s fleets are able to destroy Grievous’s entire frigate fleet. However Grievous himself manages to get out on a starfighter. Anakin and R2-D2 chase him until they are knocked off course and crash. When Anakin awakes on the Resolute ship, he finds that R2 is gone. Obi-Wan commends him for the battle, but when he finds out that Anakin has not wiped key information from R2’s memory, he orders Anakin to retrieve him. Ahsoka presents Anakin with a new R3-S6 unit, who they nickname ‘Goldie’, to replace R2-D2. Although it is supposedly a similar model, it begins making costly errors right away when they board a Trandoshan freighter manned by Gha’ Nachkt (Ron Perlman), whom they suspect may have R2-D2 in custody. They search the ship and are unable to find R2, but manage to get in a fight with two other droids. They leave the ship empty-handed, while Gha puts in a call to Grievous noting that R2-D2, whom he does have possession of, is probably worth more than they negotiated. Meanwhile Anakin goes scouting to find a potential spy post of Grievous’s, and due to R3’s incompetence in turning on the tracking device instead of the scanning device, Grievous finds him and attacks. Anakin is able to escape with the help of Ahsoka and Rex on the Escape ship. Anakin is frustrated with his new droid, and laments that he believes R2 is still out there, while Grievous beheads one of his droids in frustration over Anakin escaping. 12/29/18
- 007. Duel of the Droids – 11/14/2008
- As Gha makes his way toward Grievous to delivery R2-D2, Anakin’s fleet search for an enemy listening post. R2 sneaks a transmission to Anakin, so he abandons his outpost mission in search of R2, who is delivered to Grievous and begins the process of being ripped apart for battle secrets. Captain Rex determines that R2’s transmission came for an area near a Separatist battle sphere. Obi Wan commands Anakin to sneak onto the station and destroy it before R2’s memory banks are cracked, although Anakin prefers a rescue attempt. His team makes it to the outpost, as Gha beings disassembling R2, discovering that he is full of a wealth of mission plans. However when he demands more money for the droid, he is killed by Grievous. As Goldie tries to get them through the secure doors, they are attacked by battle droids, which they manage to put out of commission by using Droid poppers. Ahsoka and the clones encounter Grievous and engage in battle, but he kills all of the clones except Rex and Denal. Anakin meanwhile has left the group in search of R2 and finally finds him. As he fights off droids to retrieve R2, Grievous battles Ahsoka and reveals that the R3 unit Goldie is actually working for him, Rex plants detonators on the station’s reactors. Anakin summons the Twilight to pick them up in the hangar, but Goldie shuts the pod doors with them inside. Anakin orders Rex to detonate the reactors, and as the post begins to explode, R2 battles R3 and manages to get the doors open again. Ahsoka escapes Grievous and all survivors escape in the Twilight before the post explodes…except for R2. Grievous escapes in his ship Soulless One. Anakin boards his starfighter and makes the rescue, much to the chagrin of Obi-Wan. Anakin explains to Ahsoka that R2 is not only a useful droid, but also a friend. 12/4/19

Gunray tells Farr that no supplies will arrive until Amidala is executed, which causes Farr to second guess his new allegiance. With Gunray and his troops in full pursuit of ‘the Jedi’, Padme attempts to rescue Jar Jar who again flees under water. She believes Jar Jar has been killed when a thermal detonator explodes under water, but Jar Jar had been hiding inside the slug monster. After the Tranquility is distracted with vulture droids, Ventress arrives on the ship with battle droids, but separates from them to plan detonators around the ship. Luminara’s team quickly dispatches the droids, but Ventress overpowers Ahsoka and locks her in the cell. She is interrupted by Luminara and is unable to escape with Gunray, but after the detonators explode parts of the ship, she escapes down an elevator hatch. Despite Ahsoka’s warnings, Luminara pursues her alone. Captain Argyus (James Marsters), the head of a group of Senate Commandos also on the ship, advises her to pursue Luminara, leaving him with Gunray. Ventress gets the better of Luminara in a fighting style that clearly mimics Dooku’s, but Ahsoka is able to save her, as Ventress escapes again. Back in the brig, Argyus reveals that he is a traitor and frees Gunray, escaping with him on a Republic ship, where they are joined by Ventress. When Argyus gloats of his glory, only giving a small amount of credit to Ventress, she impales him with her light saber. While Anakin is in a panic and is mostly concerned about Padme, Obi-Wan reminds him of the ramifications of the virus getting loose in the galaxy, indicating that if it is necessary to sacrifice Padme – or even all of Naboo – it will need to be done rather than having the virus destroy the entire galaxy. Ahsoka sends a thermal detonator into one of the base hatches and causes an explosion, which diverts the attention of a good number of Battle Droids. Anakin is able to rescue Padme and Jar Jar, while Obi-Wan finds the supply of bombs. Vindi detonates all of the bombs remotely, but the Rex bomb squad is able to diffuse them. The lab rises to ground level, and Vindi believes he will escape by throwing vials of the virus at the Jedi, but he is attacked by Peppi, who neutralizes him. Padme and Jar Jar also are able to get another detonator away from a rabbit droid (David Acord). Vindi is arrested, but laughs since he is wearing a bomb on his wrist… but it goes dead thanks to the bomb squad just before it is set to explode. Jar Jar faints in relief, and Ahsoka gives Anakin the news that Padme is with her. 6/11/21
- 018. Mystery of a Thousand Moons – 2/13/2009
- As the Jedi begin escorting Nuvo Vindi to Naboo’s capital Theed for trial, one of the Rabbit Droids takes a vial of the Blue Shadow Virus from a bomb in their possession, and places it in another bomb and detonates it on board Vindi’s lab. Ahsoka is able to close all doors on the lab and contain the virus, but some of the virus gets into the safe room with her and some Clone soldiers. Padme and Jar Jar are also on board in their spacesuits, so they set out to ensure that none of the Battle Droids onboard open the lab doors and release the virus. During the battle with the droids, Padme’s suit becomes ripped and she too is exposed to the virus. Anakin and Obi-Wan take Vindi to Theed, where he is locked up on the order of Captain Typho. He also has located a Reeksa root which can act as the virus antidote found on the Separatist-controlled planet Iego, so Obi-Wan and Anakin head there. As they enter its atmosphere, they notice a graveyard of spaceships just outside the planets surface. Upon landing, they are greeted by a bevy of Battle Droids, and Anakin destroys 18 of them before realizing that they had been re-purposed by a young boy named Jaybo Hood (David Kaufman), who is stuck on the planet. He tells the Jedi that no one leaves the planet alive as they are always stopped by the ghost of Drol. Nevertheless, Obi-Wan and Anakin climb down a cliff where they are attacked by the flying Xandu, which carries them to the bottom, and the Reeksa plant itself, which has teeth like a Venus Flytrap. They are able to dig up some root, and then cut the heads off some of the Reeksa in order to escape. Jaybo then leads them to the planet’s leader Amit Noloff (Phil LaMarr), who tells them the same tale of Drol. They attempt to leave the planet, but are stopped by an energy field that they deduce was simply a security system left by the Separatists. The Jedi are able to find the primary source for the field on the moon of Millus Prime. Using abandoned vulture droids, they are able to destroy the energy field, leaving the inhabitants of Iego the freedom to now leave if they please. The Jedi return to Naboo with the root, and are able to save the lives of Padme, Ahsoka, and Rex, who are now expected to make a full recovery thanks to the antidote. 6/12/21
- 019. Storm Over Ryloth – 2/27/2009
- Under command of the evil and oppressive Separatist leader Wat Tambor (Matthew Wood), the Separatists have taken over the planet of Ryloth and are ruling the Twi’lek people with an iron fist, so the Republic mounts an assault to liberate them, with Anakin and Ashoka aiming to take out the Separatists ships blocking entry to the planet, before Obi-Wan’s ground forces can land. Ahsoka leads a squadron to clear a path, but she and her troops are overtaken. She ignores the command of both Admiral Yularen (Tom Kane) and Anakin to return to the command ships, resulting in the loss of her entire squadron, and injury to the Admiral. After they retreat at light speed, Anakin tells Ahsoka how disappointed he is with her ignoring orders, but also coaches her that casualties are a part of commanding when she is crestfallen by the deaths of her men. Meanwhile Separatist Capatin Mar Tuuk (Corey Burton) expects Anakin to return after looking up his history, so he prepares him men for another attack. Anakin reports the casualties back to Obi-Wan and Mace Windu, and they inform Anakin how imperative it is that he clear a pathway for the ground forces. A dejected Ahsoka thinks Anakin is crazy to try another attempt, but Anakin says they must find away. He then announces his plan to evacuate the Defender starfighter, and then to pilot himself and use it to destroy their ship before he and Artoo eject to an escape pod. Anakin offers to surrender himself and the Defender to Tuuk, but when a droid scans and sees only one life form aboard, Tuuk realizes it is a trap and evacuates himself, while the Defender collides with his ship and destroys it. Ahsoka then leads the command to destroy whatever is left after the droids manage to organize. Obi-Wan, Mace, and their troops arrive on the scene ready to proceed with the ground attack, as Rex dispatches a rescue of Anakin’s escape pod. 11/7/21
- 020. Innocents of Ryloth – 3/6/2009
- Now that the space blockade air defense of Separatist leader Wat Tambor over Ryloth has been destroyed, the Republic plans to make its landing on the planet in order to rescue the Twi’lek people. However, their cannons prove to be a threat to the larger ships, so Mace Windu sends Obi-Wan to destroy the cannons. This proves to be a bigger challenge when it is realized that the Separatist Droids led by the droid commander TX-20 (Corey Burton), are holding the Twi’lek hostages around the cannons. The Republic Crumb Bomber lands on Ryloth, and the clones begin inspecting. Two of them, Waxer and Boil, separate from the others and find the hostages, and also find one of the Twi’lek children, a little girl named Numa (Catherine Taber). She is initially fearful of them, but when they give her some food, she warms up to them, and then follows them on their scouting mission. She gets ahead of them and takes them to her former home, which has been destroyed by the war. The men vow to take care of her. TX-20 overhears Obi-Wans’ plans to disable the cannons without any of the hostages getting hurt, so he forms a plan to unleash a group of starving gutkurr creatures to attack them. Obi-Wan lures the creatures away with the Force, and orders the clone soldiers to fire on a rock bridge, which collapses on the gutkurrs and traps them. Waxer and Boil then run into Obi-Wan with Numa, who tells Obi-Wan in her own language that she will lead them to the hostages. The three of them are able to free the prisoners from their bondage, while the others create a diversion. Numa is reunited with her Uncle, while Obi-Wan takes control of a proton cannon, and uses it to destroy the other proton cannons. One of the droids reports the attack to TX-20, so he returns in his ATT vehicle, and fires on the cannon, knocking all three of them off of it. He attempts to fire on Obi-Wan and Numa, gloating all the while, but this angers the Twi’lek, who emerge from hiding and rip apart the TX-20 with their bare hands, an action that the droids did not compute. Mace Windu and the rest of the Republic soldiers now land so they can execute their next mission: to take over the capital city of Lessu, so that they can free the planet. As they leave and say goodbye to Numa, she calls out ‘Nerra’ to the men… with Obi-Wan translates to mean ‘brother’. 11/14/21
- 021. Liberty on Ryloth – 3/13/2009
- With the Republic now landed on Ryloth, Anakin fights Separatists ships in the air, while Mace Windu leads an offensive toward the Ryloth capital city Lessu to do final battle with Wat Tambor. The offensive is costly for the Republic as they lose 32 men in the battle. Wat Tambor confesses to his tactical droid TA-175 (Gary Scheppe) that the Republic is approaching the city faster than he expected, but believes that Windu doesn’t have the troops to take the city, and thus refuses to retreat. He orders all droids to return to Lessu and secure the projected plasm bridge over the chasm to the capital building. Anakin informs the Jedi and the Ryloth Senator Orn Free Taa (Phil LaMarr) that the airspace around Ryloth has been made secure by him and Obi Wan. However, with Republic forces thin, Windu looks to Twi’Lek resistance leader Cham Syndulla (Robin Atkin Downes), much to the consternation of political enemy Orn Free Taa. Count Dooku is disappointed with Wat Tambor’s job, and warns him he should gather all of the treasure he can find and retreat and leave Ryloth. Wat Tambor orders that they begin bombing inhabited villages. Windu locates Syndulla and his freedom fighter, but Syndulla is reluctant to help the Republic defeat the Separatists. However, after hearing about the remnants of he village massacre, he agrees that they should work together. The plasma bridge is shut down by Tambor’s battle droids, but when another transport of treasure heads the capital headquarters, Tambor has them turned back on temporarily. One of the transports contains Mace Windu and two of the clones, Stak and Razor. The security droids sent out to examine the rships before they finish crossing the bridge discover Windu and the clones, but Windu is able to overcome them and get over the bridge using the Force before Tambor’s droids shut it down. They then make their way to Tambor’s headquarters and turn the bridge back on, so the rest of Republic troops can cross. The TA-175 commandeers Tambor’s ship and leaves him stranded and at the mercy of Windu. He realizes that the Separatists plan to bomb the city and destroy him along with the Republic army, but Anakin and Ahsoka are able to stop the bombers before they launch on Lessu. Wat Tambor surrenders unconditionally, Chan Syndulla thanks Mace Windu for the Republic’s help, and with Ryloth now free, Cham and Senator Taa unite to wave the Twi’lek people who hold a parade to celebrate their regained freedom. James Arnold Taylor is Tae Boon. 5/7/22
- 022. Hostage Crisis – 3/20/2009
- Bounty hunter Cad Bane (Corey Burton) assembles a group of deadly bounty hunters and lands them near the Senate Building, where they are arrested by Senate Commandos. However, sniper Aurra Sing (Jaime King) is able to free them and they enter the Senate building. Meanwhile, Anakin is in the office of Senator Amidala and is trying to convince her to go away with him. She insists that she is caught up in too much work to leave, but he says that their love should be more important. As if to prove that he is able to sacrifice his work, he hands her his lightsaber. They are interrupted by Bail Organa (Phil LaMarr) and C-3PO who call Padme away for a Senate meeting regarding the Enhanced Privacy Invasion Bill. Anakin is forced to hide, and Padme walks off with his weapon. Robonino (Dee Bradley Baker) finds the control panel in the building and is able to disable security and lock everyone in the building. The bounty hunters gather the Senators together and encircle them, holding them hostage. Senator Philo (Phil LaMarr) attempts to walk out in protest and is shot in the back by Bane. Bane transmits to Chancellor Palpatine that he wants the pardon chip for Ziro the Hutt (Corey Burton) released to him via Senator Orn Free Taa. Palpatine resists, but Bane is able to prove that he holds all of the power. Anakin realizes what is going on and spies on the bounty hunters and senators until he is spotted by Bane, who sends two bounty hunters to capture him. Without his lightsaber, Anakin is overpowered by one of them, Shahan Alama (Corey Burton), with the help of Robonino shocking him, and he is dragged to the hostages. Bane and his men surround them by lasers that will trigger a bomb if they move. However, he tells Palpatine that he has what he wants and that he will now leave them all safely. Orn Free Taa is given the pardon chip and HELIOS 3D (Matthew Wood) takes him to the prison, where they pick up Ziro. Anakin wakes up and is given his light saber by Padme, so he cuts a hole in the floor for them to escape just before Bane detonates the bomb. Anakin and Padme maintain the secrecy of their marriage after the rescue. Bane tells Ziro that it is now time to pay up for the rescue, as he does not work for free. 5/13/22
SEASON 2
- 023. Holocron Heist – 10/2/2009
- The Jedi are facing a crisis situation on the planet Felucia, as they are outnumbered by droids and losing the battle. Republic gunships come in to rescue them, and Obi-Wan sends a message to Ahsoka to stop her troops from fighting the droids and get ready for retreat. Since she is winning her own localized battle, she is resistant to her command and keeps fighting. Eventually Obi-Wan and Anakin land their gunship between her and the droids and order her to board the ship. She is later brought before the Jedi Council with Anakin, and because of her disobedience, she is sentenced to guard duty in the Jedi Temple Archives, to keep watch over the Jedi Holocron Vault, where all of the texts of Jedi secrets are housed, and which only members of the Jedi Council have access to. She is eager to do the job under the tutelage of the librarian Jocasta Nu (Flo Di Re). Meanwhile, Darth Sidious is collaborating with Cad Bane to steal one of the Holocrons from the library. He assures Bane that he will be provided with all of the tools he needs, including a map of the vaults which he places in his droid Todo 360 (Seth Green). Bane also brings his fellow bounty hunter and shapeshifter Cato Parasitti (Gwendoline Yeo), who takes the form of slain Jedi Ord Eniscence (Dee Bradley Baker). Yoda senses a shift in the force that indicates that intruders are coming. Cato, disguised as Ord, enters the temples archives and is offered help by Ahsoka. Cato gets access to the temple’s schematics and guides Todo and Cad through the air ducts to gain access to the Archives. When Cato is confronted by Jocasta, Cato knocks her out and assumes her form. She is able to talk Bane into disabling he security lasers and break into the archives. Ahsoka notices Bane in the form of Jacosta, and the two duel with Ahsoka winding up victorious. Bane sends Todo to the Communications Center, although the droid does not like the fact that he’ll be surrounded by Jedi. It turns out the droid is carrying a bomb, but Mace is able to use the Force and push the droid far enough away from them that they are not harmed in the explosion. Bane is able to grab the Holocron cube and escape. While Cato is in custody, he reveals to the Jedi that Bane is after Bolla Ropal, the missing Jedi who is the keeper of the Kyber Crystal, which houses the names of all of the Force-sensitive children, ie. potential future Jedi, in the galaxy. The Holocron would be able to de-code the information on that crystal. Obi-Wan stays on Coruscant to search for Bane, while Anakin and Ahsoka head to the Devaron System in search of Ropal. 8/6/22
- 024. Cargo of Doom – 10/02/2009
- Cad Bane successfully captures Bolla Ropal (Dee Bradley Baker) and the Kyber Crystal in the Devaron System, as Anakin and his men are in pursuit of him. Bane tortures Ropal to open the Holocron, but Ropal refuses, and Cad continues to increase the levels of electricity he is hitting Ropal with until Ropal finally dies. Anakin informs Admiral Yularen that he is going to attempt to land on Bane’s Munificent starship, which he, Ahsoka, and Captain Rex successfully do by entering with three AT-TEs. After Ropal dies, Bane thinks the only way to get the Holocron open is to force another Jedi to do it, so he stands down so that Anakin and Ahsoka will both come to him. Meanwhile Nute Gunray contacts Bane and is furious that he has lent out his warships only to have four of them destroyed, not realizing that Bane was planning a war with the Jedi. Bane assures him that he will be compensated when he is able to complete his mission and turn over the Holocron to Darth Sidious. Anakin and Ahsoka find the dead Ropal and order his body to be returned to the Resolute. They go in pursuit of Bane, who deactivates the gravity on the ship during the battle. R2D2 then reactivates the gravity, and Ahsoka goes alone in pursuit of Bane as he flees, but he is able to overpower and stun her in order to use her as bait for Anakin. As the ship is nearing detonation, Anakin orders Rex and the clones to find an escape ship, and he goes to retrieve Ahsoka. However, Bane has her trapped on the other side of a forcefield, with the ability to open an airlock that would suck her into space. At his mercy, Anakin opens the Holocron, and Bane is able to place the Kyber Crystal inside. Anakin then is able to pull his light saber and rescue Ahsoka, but Bane gets away. Nute Gunray tells him to transmit the information from the Holocron, but Bane says he will escape in his own way and hand-deliver the information to Sidious himself. Bane then realizes that the clones have control of his escape ship, and he fights with clones Denal and Koho. Anakin attempts to chase after Bane, but Ahsoka give him good advice to be patient and instead to escape safely. As they are all leaving, Ashoka sees Bane fall to his death at the hands of Denal, and attempts to retrieve the Holocron, but she is stopped by Anakin. Denal boards the ship and tells Anakin he was unable to retrieve the Holocron. They leave behind the airship as it explodes. Ahsoka comments that the Holocron is destroyed but at least it wasn’t obtained by the Separatists. Anakin notes that Bane is now dead, but he can still feel him. When they return to the Resolute, Ahsoka apologizes for losing the upper hand to Bane, but Anakin takes responsibility. However, after a smarmy remark about not completing his mission from Admiral Yularen, Anakin claims that he won his battle. 8/26/22
- 025. Children of the Force – 10/9/2009
- After their failed mission to recover the Holocron, Anakin and Ahsoka realize that Denal is actually Cad Bane in disguise when they see some of his green blood. Anakin tries to chase him down, even jumping atop the fighter plane that he boards, but he manages to get through the hyperspace transport rings and escape. Later in Coruscant, Anakin reports to the Jedi Council that the Separatists now have access to the list of Force-sensitive children. The Jedi meditate and search the Force for future kidnappings of these children, and as a result, Anakan heads to Naboo and Obi-Wan heads to Rodia. Elsewhere, Darth Sidious gives the order to Cad Bane to kidnap four children from the list and bring them to the lava-covered planet of Mustafar. Cad Bane gets to Rodia first and manages to sedate Mahtee Dunn (Jameelah McMillan), the mother of Wee Dunn, claiming that he is a Jedi and needs to take the boy Coruscant to escape Jedi imposters. Obi-Wan arrives shortly after but miss his chance to recover the boy. Anakin and Ahsoka make it to Naboo in time to save the Gungan child Roo-Roo Page, who Anakin takes to safety in Jan-gwa City. Ahsoka waits for Cad Bane in the baby’s room, and when he shows up, she manages to take her braid back and capture him. Aboard a cruiser, Anakin, Windu, and Obi-Wan band together and use the Jedi mind trick to get Bane to tell him where the other children are located. Although he refuses, the main in his head is too great to withstand, so he agrees to take them to the Holocron and the children. With Obi-wan reluctant to report to the Chancellor on the status of this situation, Anakin agrees to do it, so he returns to Coruscant, while Windu and Obi-Wan go with Cad Bane to the Black Stall station in the Outer Rim. When they arrive, Cad Bane shows them where the Holocron is located, but it is a trap, as the area is equipped with lasers and guns that allow Bane to escape, even though the Jedi manage to dodge the weapons and retrieve the device. Anakin and Ahsako return to the resolute and investigate Bane’s ship, determining from the fuel logs the likely locations that Bane had stopped since all of the navigation logs has been erased. They determine from that that he had likely been to Mustafar, so they head there. On Mustaer, Chancellor Palpatine in hologram as Darth Sidious orders his medical droids to being work on converting the children into Sith spies who can spy on and overwhelm the Jedi. However, when he gets word that the Jedi are on their way, he orders the children evacuated and to let the station sink into the lava. When Anakin and Ahsoka arrive, they sense the location of the children. They have to fight battle droids who are using the children as shields, but they manage to snatch them from the droid clutches and rescue them. With the Holocron and the children now in the Jedi hands, they declare their mission complete, but Yoda warns they must use caution on the path ahead, as they still have no idea who was behind the whole plot. 12/3/22
- 026. Senate Spy – 10/17/2009
- The Jedi Council suspects a conspiracy between the Separatists and Senator Rush Clovis (Robin Atkin Downes), and they would like to find a fellow Senator to spy on him. Padme has already turned Yoda’s request down, so the council summon Anakin to try and talk her into it. He has just returned from a lengthy tour of duty to Coruscant and is enjoying time with Padme, so he is naturally not happy to be called away, nor is she happy that he chooses to leave. Furthermore, he does not feel that the assignment will be safe for her, so he tries to talk them out of it. Nevertheless, he approaches her with the proposal, and then when he finds out that she has a history of friendship and romance with Clovis, he flat out forbids it. On the other hand, when Padme finds that he might be conspiring with the Separatists, she changes her mind and decides to accept the challenge. Amidala meets Clovis for lunch, and he tells her that he is going to Cato Neimoidia to negotiate with the Trade Federation. He offers for her to come along since she has political influence with Senator Lott Dod (Gideon Emery). They both act as if they want to rekindle their romance as well. Anakin and C-3PO accompany them on the trip, with Anakin keeping one eye on any physicality between them, even breaking a seat so they can’t sit together, and swerving the ship so he can’t kiss her. Lott Dod greets them upon arrival and hosts a private conversation with Clovis and they look over the holographic blueprints of a Droid Foundry that Clovis is helping to fund a droid for Count Dooku. Clovis refuses to lend any more credits for the project, but after he has been retrieved by Padme, Dod and his partner Poggle the Lesser (Matthew Wood) realize that she is his weakness, so they come up with a plan to poison her and then use the antidote to extort the needed money. Dod is able to poison her through drink, and later when she goes for a walk in the palace with Dod, she begins to feel faint and thirsty. While Dod goes to get her some water, she finds the hologram disc and steals it. She manages to pass it off to Anakin, who then gives it to R2-D2. When Padme then passes out, Clovis reports it to Dod, who informs him that Padme is a Federation spy. He angrily confronts her and accuses of her only wanting to see him to spy on him. Anakin then enters and demands that they leave the planet. Knowing she will not survive the trip without the antidote, Clovis holds Dod at gunpoint in order to get the antidote from his henchmen. However, Anakin will not give Dod the disc with the plans on it, and they depart the planet without him. As Anakin administers the antidote, Dod and his men beckon Clovis to come ‘talk’ to them. 12/3/22
- 027. Landing at Point Rain – 11/4/2009
- Poggle the Lesser has created a giant droid foundry on the planet Geonosis, which is protected by a ray-shield. Obi-Wan and Ki Adi Mundi (Brian George) lead a giant Republic Fleet with plans to attack and destroy the shield and factories. Anakin and Ahsoka return from another battle at Dorrin and compare their number of kills, with Anakin being the leader. They contact the Outer Rim Command with Mace Windu, Yoda, Luminara Unduli, and Palpatine to share their three-pronged plan of attack on the Geonosis shield. Palpatine suggest that it is dangerous to send three generals into one area to knock out the shield. Yoda responds that this mission the must capture Poggle at any cost. Ahsoka points out a giant wall with many gun emplacements, but Anakin says they won’t go anywhere near it. They all board their gunships and begin the initiative. The air defense of the Geonosians is particularly grueling and Anakin and his team are shot down early. Mundi orders his gunship to land, but when he realizes how much firepower they have on the land, he warns Obi-Wan to stay in the air. Unfortunately, he has nowhere else to go and they crash land as well. Commander Jet calls Admiral Yularen for reinforcements, but he is denied as it would take away from other Republic campaigns. Commander Cody sends Waxer and Boil to check for survivors of Obi-Wan’s crash. They are able to rescue Obi-Wan and another clone named Trapper. Meanwhile, Anakin and Ahsoka run into the high wall, which is not just a barrier, but a fortress. They manage to scale the wall to the top where they are attacked by Droidekas. An injured Mundi leads his troops a cave where they are attacked by Geonosian flyers. With Rex’s help, Anakin and Ahsoka are able to overpower the Droidekas and throw explosives into the wall’s deployment holes and cause it to explode, still keeping track of their number of kills. They make their way to Mundi, who has dispatched of the Geonosians using flamethrowers. Anakin then calls Yularen for air support, and he is now able to send a squadron. With their combined forces, Anakin is able to get inside the shields to temporarily jam the droid scanners so that the AT-TEs can attack the shield generators, which allows the air strike to land and force the surrender of the Geonosians. As Anakin helps an injured Obi-Wan back to the ship, Ahsoka asks him his kill count and says it is 55. Ahsoka tops it with 60, but Anakin considers it a tie since he called in the air strike. Ki Adi Mundi says that his count is 65 and asks what he wins. Anakin tells him that he has his everlasting respect, a gift, according to Obi-Wan, that Anakin rarely bestows. 5/21/23
- 028. Weapons Factory – 11/13/2009
- With the Republic troops having taken over Geonosis, they are now prepared to destroy Poggle the Lesser’s droid foundry. To assist with the initiative, Luminara Unduli arrives with her Padawan Barriss Offee (Meredith Salenger) to assist with the initiative. As Ahsoka briefs the clone troops, Anakin keeps interrupting her and finishing her sentences, much to Ahsoka’s irritation. When Luminara and Barriss arrive, Luminara suggests that they send their Padawans through Geonosian catacombs below the foundry and plant bombs on the factory’s reactor. Anakin thinks it is too dangerous and doesn’t think Ahsoka is ready, but Ahsoka, once again angry that Anakin seems to have so little faith in her, insists she up to the task. Luminara also assures Anakin that Barriss has memorized the catacombs and can be trusted to complete the mission. While the Padawans get inside, Anakin and Luminara will march in directly with their troops and distract the Geonosians. However, the Geonosians have laid a trip and attack them from all sides, as the Padawans cut a hole through the wall into the catacombs and make their way through. They encounter an area full of sleeping Geonosians and accidentally wake one up. Unknown to them, he follows them to the reactor and alerts Poggle and his tactical droid TX-21 (Tom Kane) that they are in the factory. The TX-21 talks Poggle to send in their latest weapon super tanks to stop the incoming invasion, as well as one tank and a slew of droids to stop the Padawans. Anakin tells his clone troopers to retreat so that the tanks will follow them. As the tanks travel over the gorge, Anakin and Luminara climb under the bridge and plant explosives. Once they arrive on the factory side of the gorge, they blow up the bridge, causing the tanks to fall into the gorge. At the location of the reactor, the Geonosians manage to remove all of the bombs that the Padawans planted, and two of them pick up Ahsoka and slam her into the reactor knocking her out. Barriss chooses to save Ahsoka rather than chase after the bombs, so she cuts into the super tank and takes out the droids operating it. Without the bombs, Ahsoka suggests that they blow up the reactor with the tank, knowing that they will be unlikely to survive. In the interest of their mission, they fire at the reactor and blow up the entire building. They are then buried in the tank under tons of rubble. While Luminara is ready to simply celebrate her Padawan’s mission, Anakin refuses to give up on Ahsoka until she can be found. He calls in a cleanup crew to dig them out, while Ahsoka uses a power cell from the tank and fashions a communicator. As soon as Anakin gets a signal from her, he and Luminara use the force to lift the rubble, of which Ahsoka and Barriss climb out. Anakin chastises Luminara for giving up on Barriss, but she says that when the time comes, she is prepared to let her Padawan go, questioning whether Anakin will be able to do the same. Anakin tells Ahsoka that he never lost faith in her, and Luminara concurs that this is the truth. 5/21/23
- 029. Legacy of Terror – 11/20/2009
- After the victory on Geonosis, Ahsoka and Barriss are sent home to recuperate, while Luminara tells Obi-Wan how important it is that the find Poggle the Lesser to arrest him. She sets out on a speeder to find him, although she is warned about an impending sandstorm. She and her clone companion Buzz track Poggle and his entourage to Progate Temple. Obi-Wan boards the Republica Acclamator ship and meets up with Ki Adi Mundi, who has recovered from his injuries in the Bacta tank. They advise Luminara to wait for backup after she tells them that Poggle has disappeared into a hole in the temple floor which leads into the catacombs. They hear Buzz scream in the background and then lose contact. Anakin wants to head to them immediately, but Obi-Wan insists that they wait out the storm. Luminara is knocked unconscious and dragged off by a group of Geonosians. She awakens as they are dragging her through the catacombs and tries to fight them but realizes that they seem to feel no pain and can continue to move even after being cut in half. Anakin and Obi-Wan arrive with a group of clones and find Buzz dead and Luminara’s light saber on the ground. They receive another brief transmission from Luminara warning them to leave the temple immediately and not to follow. The do not heed the warning and go through a tunnel that appears to have a statue of the head of a Geonosian queen Karina the Great (Dee Bradley Baker) above it. Obi-Wan says he has heard tales of queens that have a hive mind so strong that they can control subjects even after they are dead. They notice that the zombie-like Geonosians have a worm crawling in and out of the orifices in their heads. They eventually find the queen, along with a tied-up Luminara. Anakin wants to resort to violence right away, but Obi-Wan’s cool head prevails and he speaks respectfully to the queen. She tells them that they will not disrupt her rule of Geonosis and tells them that soon she will control them both along with Luminara. She tries to have a worm place into Luminara’s head, but Obi-Wan has Commander Cody and the clones shine bright lights on them to blind them temporarily as they use the force to pull the worm into Obi-Wan’s hands. He wants to take it and study it, but Anakin sees that it wants to enter Obi-Wan so he smacks it away and crushes it with his boot. They fight off the Geonosians and cause the roof to collapse on top of them. They free Luminara and take Poggle with them and escape through a hole in the ceiling before the entire catacombs collapse on itself, burying the surviving Geonosians and the Queen. Obi-Wan laments that they didn’t get a worm to study, but Anakin says they should be glad that they were all buried with the queen. 9/24/23
- 030. Brain Invaders – 12/4/2009
- After the destruction of Queen Karina’s temple on Geonosis, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Luminara, and Ki-Adi-Mundi prepared to deliver the Queen’s henchman Poggle the Lesser to trial on Coruscant. Ahsoka and Bariss are selected to transport medical supplies to Dantoonie. Meanwhile, a group of Clone troopers are resting when one of the brain worms that had been able to reanimate dead Geonosians crawls into the nostril of a trooper named Scythe. They are awakened by another trooper and told they are to help with the delivery of the medical supplies. They follow the two Padawans onto the medical frigate TB-73, while Scythe smuggles the brain worm eggs in his backpack. As the frigate heads toward Dantooine, Ahsoka and Barriss head to mess hall for food, as Scythe enters the sleeping quarters of the other Clones and releases the eggs containing the worms, which enter into some of the Clones’ noses. Two of the infected Clones kill the ship’s pilots, while two others, Ox and Edge, attack Ahsoka and Barriss. They Padawans are able to overpower them, and then question two other Clones, Trap and Havoc, who show up on the scene. Once they are determined to be safe, Trap joins the Padawans to check the bridge. Elsewhere, Anakin and Obi-Wan are notified that the frigate did not check in as planned. Although Anakin is worried, he and Obi-Wan begin interrogating Poggle. The Clones piloting the ship put up the security shields so that the Padawans cannot enter. Trap, now also under the influence of a brain worm, attacks the Padawans, but he is killed and worm inside him comes out and tries to enter Barriss, only to be cut in half by Ahsoka’s light saber. They then head to contact Kit Fisto on Dantoonie, but are delayed when they spot a group of Clones putting a worm into another Clone. They are attacked on both ends by Clones who have been infected. The Padawans escape into the ventilator shaft and decide to stop the ship from reaching the medical station. Ahsoka reaches Master Fisto through a transmission, but he tells them to dock as they need to analyze the brain worms. Barriss heads to the thrusters to try and stop the ship, but she is hit with electric shocks, and then faces a group of Clones who try to put the worm into her again. Ahsoka reaches Anakin and tells him what is going on, so he intensifies his interrogation of Poggle. As Anakin uses the Force to choke Poggle, Bariss, now under the control of the brain worms, comes at Ahsoka and the two have a light saber fight throughout the ship before she ducks into the air ducts again. Poggle tells Anakin that the worms are affected by the cold, so he tells Ahsoka to rupture the coolant system on the ship. As the medical ship comes out of hyperspace, Fisto had it guided in and tells his crew not to board the ship until the parasites are contained. After Ahsoka ruptures the coolant system, it begins to render the Clones unconscious. Bariss continues her pursuit of Ahsoka, but as she is affected by the cold, she begs Ahsoka to killer her. Ahsoka cannot do that, but when Barriss continues her attack and the worm comes out of her mouth, Ahsoka is able to kill it. Once the ship docks, Fisto comes aboard and finds the Padawans and several Clones frozen, but alive. Fisto has the parasites analyzed as being the same as the ones found on Geonosis. Anakin believes this is how the Geonosians recaptured the planet the first time, so he makes sure that information gets back to the troops still on the planet. Ahsoka wonders if she made the right choice when Bariss told her to kill her, because it could have been disastrous if the worms had gotten off the ship. Anakin tells Ahsoka followeed her instinct since she knew the cold would kill the worms, so therefore she did the right thing. 9/24/23

- With the attacks of General Grievous a thorn in the side of the Jedis, he boards Jedi Master Eeth Koth’s (Chris Edgerly) ship, and with the help of his MagnaGuards is able to subdue and kidnap him. With no goal other than to destroy the Jedi, he sends a transmission to the Jedi on Coruscant telling them of his intention to torture and kill Koth. During the transmission, Koth is able to signal the other Jedi with his fingers of his location in the Saleucami system. Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Adi Gallia (Angelique Perrin) immediately head out to rescue Koth and try and apprehend Grievous. While the Republic ships engage Grievous’s fleet in a space battle as they approach his ship, Anakin and his team are able to sneak onto Grievous’s ship. However, Grievous has anticipated their every move and is full expecting Skywalker to be close behind Kenobi. As Kenobi and his men battle Grievous’s battle droids and MagnaGuards, Anakin locates Koth, where he is surprised by the tactical droid TV-94 and a rash of commando droids. As they battle, TV-94 attempts to activate a shock to kill Koth that is located on his robotic arm, but Anakin severs it before he can hit it, eventually destroying the droid altogether. As Kenobi and Grievous battle, Kenobi asks him what he has to gain by leading an army of droids with not consciousness or loyalty, and he responds that he only sees a future with no Jedi’s, also denying that he is merely Count Dooku’s errand boy. Kenobi eventually overpowers him with a force push into the window, but Grievous is able to escape to a ship. Although Commander Cody and his men try to stop him, and Adi Gallia makes one final attempt to subdue him, he is able to board his ship and escape. Anakin gets Koth to his ship and then picks up Obi-Wan, Adi, and Cody before the Koth’s destroyer explodes, having had its engines fired upon by Grievous’s droids. With reports that several ships had detached from the destroyer and were headed to Salecami, Obi-Wan and the men pursue Grievous to try and locate him. Before being taken to a medical frigate, Koth tells the others that he would have gladly sacrificed his life it would have meant they could have captured or killed Grievous. Anakin tells him that it is better that they all lived to fight another day. 1/21/24
- 032. The Deserter – 1/1/2010
- Obi-Wan and his men pursue General Grievous to the planet Saleucami. Grievous, who landed in an escape pod, searches the terrain for another escape pod since his radio has been damaged. He rides atop a reek but forces his Battle Droids to walk, causing them to frequently run out of power. Once Kenobi and his clone troopers find Grievous’s wreckage, several of the clones including Captain Rex head off on speeder bikes to search for Grievous. A droid sniper fires at Rex and hits him in the chest, causing an injury that results in his arm going completely numb. He is tended to by Kix, and when they realize they are on a farm by the site of some domesticated eopies, they go in search of the farmer who owns the property. They find the farmhouse and meet the farmer’s wife Suu (Cara Pifko), and her two children Shaeeah (Nika Futterman) and Jekk (Kath Soucie). She tells them that her husband is away and offers them their barn for Rex to heal. When Shaeeah see Rex, she remarks that he looks like their father. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan finds another escape pod but there is no one there. He touches base with Jesse, who tells him about Rex’s injury, and then they plan to meet at the final escape pod to hopefully close in on Grievous. Rex is surprised when a man enters the barn and confronts him with a weapon, before realizing that the man is the farm owner, as well as a Clone. He identifies himself as Cut Lawquane, family man and farmer, but Rex knows he is really a deserter. Cut maintains that he wanted to have a free choice on what to do with his life and that his obligation is now to his family and not the Galactic Republic. Cut invites Rex to come into their house and have dinner with them. The kids go out to play in the fields and they encounter a seemingly abandoned escape pod, but when they accidentally activate it, they find that it contains functioning Commando Droids. As they droids close in on the farmhouse, Cut insists that Rex lay back due to his arm injury, but asks him to be the last line of defense for his family. Cut does a good job at holding off most of the droids, but when his leg becomes stuck in a trap door on the floor, the droids make their way upstairs where Rex and the family are hiding. Between Rex and Cut, who frees himself from his leg tap, they are able to eliminate all of the droids. Back at the escape pod, Grievous is able to send a distress call to a Separatist shuttle, but Obi-Wan and his men arrive before he can leave. Obi-Wan engages Grievous in battle, but Grievous is able to overpower him and attach himself to the hovering shuttle and escape once again. Obi-Wan laments that they are right back where they started. Rex prepares to leave Cut and his family, and when Suu asks him if he plans to turn in her husband, he responds that it is his duty to do so. However, in his condition, he will probably forget all of the details of what he has gone though. Cut invites Rex to stay, but Rex responds that his family is elsewhere. 2/4/24
- 033. Lightsaber Lost – 1/22/2010
- Anakin and Ahsoka are searching the slum districts in Coruscant for an illegal arms dealer named Car Affa, and Anakin asks Ahsoka to wait outside the bar he is entering in case the dealer tries to escape. An annoyed Ahsoka is then nearly trampled by exiting patrons, before realizing that one of them has stolen her lightsaber. She catches a mere glimpse of him before he disappears into the night and Anakin exits with his prisoner. Without telling Anakin what had happened, Ahsoka heads to the Archives to ask for advice from Jocasta Nu. She in turn directs Ahsoka to an elderly Jedi named Tera Sinube (Gregory Baldwin), who is able to check the files with his knowledge of the underground, and they identify the thief based on Ahsoka’s recollection, a Patrolian named Bannamu (James Arnold Taylor). Sensing that Ahsoka is in a rush to retrieve the lightsaber, Sinube insists on coming along with her and warns her to slow down. They return to the slum district and are directed to Bannamu by some of his cohorts, and after Ahsoka roughs him up, he tells her that he has already sold the weapon to an assassin named Nack Movers. They then head to the apartment of Movers’ girlfriend, where they find Movers already dead. They find a female named Ione Marcy (Meredith Salenger) in the apartment, who claims that men killed him and that she was too scared to report the crime. Sinube verifies that she is scared, although he believes it is for different reasons. Ahsoka searches the apartment and finds another female named Cassie Cryar (Jaime King), who first attempts to fight Ahsoka, then when realizing she is a Jedi, flees out the window and across the city’s buildings, as Ahsoka gives chase. Sinube senses inconsistencies in Ione’s story and plants a tracker on her, then calls for the police droids. He tells her that he knows that she is the partner of Ione Marcy and the two colluded to steal the light saber together. Ione is able to escape in a speeder before the police can get her. With Cassie causing obstacles with the lightsaber, she is able to escape Ahsoka and is picked up by Ione. Sinube then picks up Ahsoka and they head to the train station where the tracking device indicates they are heading, with Sinube driving much too slow for Ahsoka. Cassie spots the tracker on Ione and destroys it, but the Ahsoka and Sinube find them regardless. Cassie escapes with the light saber onto a train and takes a Twi’lek mother and daughter hostage. Ahsoka offers to be exchanged for the prisoners, but Cassie knows she will use a mind trick once they are alone. Having had Ione arrested, he is waiting when the train door opens at the next stop and is able to produce his light saber from his cane, overpower Cassie, and return Ahsoka’s light saber to her, telling her that sometimes slowing down enables her to see the path ahead. He makes her promise to share what she has learned from him, and then brings her to see Yoda, who asks her to speak her lesson to a group of younglings. 5/27/24
- 034. The Mandalore Plot – 1/29/2010
- Rumors have reached the Republic Senate that Duchess Satine Kryze (Anna Graves) of Mandalore is secretly planning to build an army to fight for the Separatist cause. Obi-Wan is sent to investigate this, and flies into the domed capital city Sundari. He first meets with Prime Minister Almec (Julian Holloway), who assures that any violent warriors from Mandalore are part of their past. Obi-Wan questions him about Jango Fett, who wore the Mandalorian armor, but Almec says that he is a common bounty hunter who has somehow acquired their armor. Obi-Wan then meets with Satine, who is offended that Obi-Wan was sent to investigate them, and he shows her a hologram of a man in Mandalorian gear attacking a Republic cruiser. He tells her that the man then took his own life to avoid interrogation. She assures Obi-Wan that her people are as trustworthy as she is, but then takes him on a walk and tells him of a rebel group known as Death Watch. She claims that they are working to root out these hooligans, who are guilty of vandalism, and believe they have tracked them to their moon Concordia. Meanwhile, a man in Mandalorian armor speaks with Count Dooku through hologram about his support of Death Wash and their plan to overthrow Duchess Satine. As Obi-Wan and Satine are walking through the city, an explosion is detonated, followed by a projection of the Death Watch symbol. Obi-Wan tells Satine that he is going to take her back to the palace and then wants to speak to everyone in the vicinity. One man runs away and is pursued by Obi-Wan and then fires on him. When he is cornered, he jumps off a ledge to commit suicide, speaking his final words to Satine in a the Concordian dialect. Duchess Satine then accompanies Obi-Wan to visit Concordia, where they meet Governor Pre Vizsla (Jon Favreau), an official who has been trying to track down the Death Watch. Obi-Wan asks Satine to keep Governor Viszla occupied while he investigates the mines to see if they are still in operation on the moon. He gives Satine an earpiece so that they can keep in contact. He enters one of the mines to see that it is clearly not abandoned, and he is suddenly attacked by two men in Mandalorian gear, knock him out and strip him of his lightsaber, and then hung upside down on the mine’s rock-crushing line. As Satine is keeping Viszla busy, Obi-Wan reaches her via radio to tell her that he is in trouble. She tells Viszla that she isn’t feeling well and needs some air, then heads out on a speeder to locate Obi-Wan. She is able to shut down the machinery that has been turned on to crush Obi-Wan on the line. After he is narrowly rescued, they are attacked by Mandalorians, but manage to escape in a turbolift. Obi-Wan is then forced to engage in gunfire with more Mandalorians, until their leader makes an appearance and orders everyone to evacuate. When he removes his mask, it is revealed to be Governor Pre Vizsla, who says that his ancestors once fought proudly as Mandalorians against the Jedi. He gives Obi-Wan his light saber, and then challenges him using a Darksaber stolen from the temple of the Jedi during the fall of the Old Republic. They duel to the frustration of Viszla, who then has three of his Mandalorian henchman fire heat-seeking missiles at him and Satine. To avoid them, they jump down the Turbolift shaft and escape. They return to Sundari, where Obi-Wan tells Satine that he fears that the Separatists are supporting Death Watch. Satine insists that she wants to stay out of the conflict and maintain their peaceful ways, but Obi-Wan says she may not have a choice. As she storms off, saying she will never be a part of the war, Anakin shows up reporting for duty. Obi-Wan says he’s glad to see him as the ‘peaceful’ ways of Mandalore are wearing him out. Greg Proops is the voice of Tal Merrik, the senator from Kalevala who was with Duchess Satine in the Sundari Royal Palace. 5/27/24
- 035. Voyage of Temptation – 2/5/2010
- Duchess Satine and other senators travel via the Coronet to speak to the Senate so that Satine can plead her case against Mandalore’s involvement in the war. Obi-Wan briefs Anakin and the clone troopers, as well as R2-D2, to protect Satine and ensure that there is no infiltration from the Separatists or the Death Watch group. Anakin perceives that Obi-Wan may have special feelings toward Satine, but Obi-Wan will only admit that they had known each other in the past. As the clones survey the ship, Rex realizes that two of the clones, Redeye and Mixer, are missing, so he reports it to Anakin, who heads to the cargo hold to help investigate. There they find a large empty crate and worry what its contents may have been. After notifying Obi-Wan of the empty crate while he is dining with Satine and several senators, Anakin and his clone troopers are attacked by the giant robotic and spider-like assassin probe. He sees another one escape up the lift toward the dining room. After destroying the giant probe, smaller spider assassin droids come out of the larger one. While Anakin and team work on killing the droids in the cargo area, Obi-Wan works on destroying them in the dining room. Even Satine pulls out her neutralizer and kills several, causing Obi-Wan to question her carrying a weapon since she is such an adamant pacifist. Anakin investigates the droid that manages the cargo and finds out from logs that the assassin droids were ordered using the stamp of the Senate. leading him to deduce that at least one senator on board the ship must be a traitor. Obi-Wan finds one living assassin droid remaining and puts it under glass on a plate, bringing it near the four senators, Orn Free Taa, Onaconda Farr, Kin Robb, and Tal Merrik, and it seems to want to kill all of them except for Tal Merrick. Now exposed as the traitor, Merrick takes Satine hostage and works his way toward the cockpit, where he kills the entire crew the reports into Pre Vizsla, who tells him that he will send reinforcements. Obi-Wan finds them and attempts to arrest Merrik, but he tells Obi-Wan that he has rigged the ship’s engines with explosives, which he will detonate if he comes any closer. Satine doesn’t want to risk anyone’s death, so she tells Obi-Wan to stand down. As Merrick attempts to board one of the ships, Satine confesses to Obi-Wan that she has always loved him. He tells her that he would have left the Jedi Order to be with her. Seemingly inspired by this, Satine steps on Merrik’s foot and manages to steal his gun. Satine mocks both Satine and Obi-Wan and says that neither has the courage to kill him, as it would cause Satine to sacrifice her pacifist viewpoint, and that Satine would lose all respect for Obi-Wan if he shot him. As Merrik laughs and taunts them, Anakin runs his light saber through the back of Merrik, instantly killing him. Anakin flippantly tells them that he was going to blow up the ship. The Coronet makes its way to Coruscant, where they are greeted and congratulated by Emperor. Satine flirts with Obi-Wan before getting into a speeder to meet with the Senate. 11/9/24
- 036. Duchess of Mandalore – 2/12/2010
- Duchess Satine presents her case to the Senate on Coruscant to retain their independence and shut down the Death Watch splinter group on their own without Republic interference. Meanwhile, Count Dooku meets with Death Watch leader Pre Vizsla and orders the execution of Satine, as well as planning to invade Mandalore. A Mandalorian spy witnesses their interaction from afar and brings the news to Prime Minister Almec, who fears that the Death Watch will look like saviors if the Republic begins to inhabit the planet. On Coruscant, Satine makes her case for maintaining independence, but the Chancellor Palpatine shows the Senate a hologram transmission from Satine’s Prime Minister Jarec (Corey Burton), in which he stresses the need for Republic assistance to hold off the Death Watch. Satine is shocked by this as it is completely out of character for Jarec, whom she considers and ally and friend. She requests to speak with Jarec but is informed that he was killed that morning by Death Watch forces. He stresses that this is even more of a reason for Republic assistance and occupation of Mandalore and tells her that the Senate will vote on this the next day. After the session, Obi-Wan tries to comfort her and asks that she not take any action in haste, but she feels that her planet’s rights are going to be violated. She leaves in a cruiser, which is rigged by the assassin to lose its navigation system, causing her to have to abandon the vehicle as the driver is killed when it crashes into a building. Satine seeks justice from Palpatine and Mas Amedda (Stephen Stanton) for this act, but he says that there is no proof that the accident was anything more than just that. After their meeting, she finds out that the Senate escalated their vote due to the incident and that the Republic would indeed be occupying Mandalore in order to put down the Death Watch. Later, Satine, now incognito in the Coruscant underworld, meets with fellow Mandalorian Davu Golec (Dee Bradley Baker) who works in the Republic Ministry of Intelligent, and he hands off a memory card that contains the unedited version of Jarec’s actual plea to the Republic. The Death Watch assassin shoots and kills Golec and then attempts to shoot Satine. Republic police spot Satine just after the shooting and pursue her as the assailant. With both the police and assassin on her trail, she melts into the underworld crowd. The assassin reports back to angry Dooku that he had witnessed the handoff of information, and that she is still alive. Dooku then reports to his master Darth Sidious that Death Watch is able to fight off the Republic when they arrive on Coruscant, now that they have earned the trust and support of the people of Mandalore. Satine is able to contact Obi-Wan and arranges a meeting so that she can hand off the memory card, asking him to get it to Padme so that she can present it to the Senate. The assassin spots them and throws a thermal detonator at them, but Obi-Wan manages to Force push Satine out of the way. He pursues and fights the assassin, who ultimately makes an escape with his jet pack. Obi-Wan and Satine head to the Galactic Senate Building where Satine turns herself in so that Obi-Wan can sneak in unnoticed and pass the memory card off to Padme. She then presents the full, unedited version of Jarec’s speech, which specifically requests no Republic involvement, which would exacerbate the already volatile situation. Pre Vizsla is furious when the Death Watch is ordered to stand down and tells Dooku he is going to tell them to attack anyway. Dooku warns him that he will never succeed without the Republic or the people of Mandalore’s support and that there will be other paths to victory. Palpatine thanks Padme and apologizes to Satine for the false information that was gleaned from the phony transmission and informs her that the Senate has voted to not send Republic forces to occupy Mandalore. Satine gives credit to Obi-Wan, but he gives the credit right back for her resolve to believe in her people. Obi-Wan and Satine then speculate about who could be behind all of this. Obi-Wan acknowledges that things are changing, and that the line between friend and foe is becoming blurred. 11/10/24
