Friday was originally going to be our last day in Myrtle Beach in the Summer of ’07. However, Mom decided that she wanted to stay an extra day. I wasn’t too happy about it since I had to work first thing Monday morning – so I think I spent some of Friday sitting around and sulking and reading my Optical Illusions book. Anyway, this combined with the fact that it wasn’t all that warm outside, prevented me from going over to the beach near our other condo, the Windy Shores. My camera did go along though, and snapped some adorable shots of Adam in his swimming gear.

Ah, the salty sea air and the comfort of Mom’s bosom
That evening we all decided on dinner at Steak ‘n Shake which always makes me happy. I like the burgers and I like the shakes. Adam liked the menu. After Andrew paid the bill, we briefly stopped back at the outlet mall so Mom could pick up something for Bob. That evening we played more games, watched more DVD’s, and drank more wine. I was in a better mood about staying the extra day after I called my boss and requested to take Monday off as well.

Next up: our last day…
The beach was warm and it was a beautiful day! The ocean was cold, but that didn’t stop some of us from wading. Adam seemed to really enjoy the sand and was running his hands thru it. You missed a great time with your sulking, and as I’m sure everyone will find out, I think you really enjoyed Saturday.
